How tall is your griffin mount?
1.425 height 🤙🏻
@@MillWorks-vi6oj Thank you brotha, just got myself a Leupold mk5 and been looking at different spr ideas
Sinn is such a watch nerd watch. Only guys that wear Sinn's are the ones that truly appreciate watches.
Thank you 🙏
In summary, 6” works but 8” is better.
😂
I don't know... I've heard that 4" works just as well. In fact it's pretty average for sling mounts. 8" is just too much and honestly makes it painful to get in.......... So I've been told.
You could explain how it work and what is it
I’ll have an install video up in the next few days 🤙🏻
He DID all of that. It's a sling attachment device. The only thing he didn't do is film an Installation video, though he did pretty much describe how it's installed in the video, but I understand that not everyone is an auditory learner. It's really a very simple premise, but many of the best ideas are. Back in the mid-late 90's when I first enlisted in the Army, well before the tactical nylon industry (that began to grow in the wake of the GWOT) was a thing, we used to make similar things with paracord, and we had learned the basic idea off Panama, Grenada and Somalia vets, who'd learned it from Vietnam vets... though this seems an improvement on what we were doing back then. If it's fairly priced, I'd definitely consider buying some.
who cares
what settings do you sekect on the charger, mine wont auto detect the battery. The K2 3.2V's also work great .
@@ikemouser2580 I’ll check tomorrow afternoon. It’s always been finicky about other brands of batteries…but these seem to always charge.

Just bought one of your GSRS bands (quadrail). Plan to put it on the B5 SOPMOD just like in the video. Is it going to manage with enough elasticity for my slights without issue?
QUadRail size is ideal for the Sopmod stock 🤙🏻
Already owning a 10.3” mk18, I’m looking to build another purposeful rifle. I have a LE6920 that I can build in to a m4a1 block 2 fsp build or urgi build. Either one would have a budget lpvo as I work on long distance shooting. Would you recommend 1 build over the other for my goal?
Nice that the tq is quick access, but please conisider a fully enclosed tq pouch as well. Run a tq on my rig, and also one fully protected from the elements. Velcro get gummed up by sand, dust, ice, etc. When you need it to work you need it to work
But it's not clone correct 😵💫 Anyways nice build, looks good.
😂absolutely not 😂😂😂
Which Geissele rail is this? Almost looks like a URGI rail but I can’t tell from the video.
13.5" SMR from Geissele
Was that bought as a complete upper?? Also, any shift in zero with the MRO??
Complete upper built by Rainier Arms. It’s got American defense receiver and BCG. I’ve had the MRO on four different setups and my Benelli M4…I haven’t noticed much or a noticeable parallax shift but I may know more now since I plan to shoot this setup a lot.
Great looking rifle Not lightweight lmao
😂 Everything is relative 😂
Have you had any issues with the B5 stock and the bag. Some say the bag interferes with the stock lever. Great Build. I have the same gun and optic. Minus some of the furniture.
I rarely run a bag on the butt…but…check out SubrevTech BAG RIDER if you do…should help with this
@@MillWorks-vi6ojI’ll check them out for sure. I have the same stock on a different gun but was hesitant to move it to this build. Lastly, you have an offset 45 instead of 12 o’clock, personal preference?? I too run 45, feels significantly better and natural to me.
I ran 12 o’clock on my first 1-4 optic but I went to 45 and I never went back…I’ve been running an offset MRDS for about 10-11yrs now.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj Makes sense. Love your content and tastes in firearms brother!!
Go Otter Creek and Plan B mounts! I’m waiting on a DeadAir Nomad and I’m putting Plan B mounts on my stuff. Been looking at a Polonium K for my longer guns.
Stop telling me what to do!!!😂😂😂
Have you sense considered first aid?
I have a Fanny back with: TQ-Israeli bandage-combat dressing/clotting dressing
@@MillWorks-vi6oj Thank you. I use a fanny pack IFAK in my truck.
😂
I have to be honest - I love how you named your carbine. It is exactly what you called it - a f@$&ing scoped carbine. I could go on forever with philosophy, but I'd rather you have a pleasant Sunday knowing you did right by the universe.
This video has great information on your rifle. Much appreciated…. Interesting…
Solgw is in my opinion a solid choice for the rifle you will ever need.. I have a few of their barrels and bcg’s…. Their receiver sets are solid tight enough that you don’t need pins to hold the upper to the lower…
Putting my 13.7 together. Rosco barrel and upper on a Griffin Armament Mk2 lower. Just ordered my lights, now saving up for my optic.
Aimpoint T2, buy once cry once.
@@AJohnSmith No, ACOG with T2 or similar red dot.
My other 13.7 is a Rosco barreled upper…fantastic choice 🤙🏻
Enjoyed the video! If I can make a suggestion if you go the Rearden/plan b route. The revival defense/forward controls 3P15 will pin and weld to 16” and has been great for me on my 14.5. It’s compatible with the Rearden stuff
I talked to one of the owners of Rearden at a vendor event and she said they plan to have some offerings that work with the 13.7 as well so I was thinking of going all Rearden but I will look at the FC 3p15 as well
@@MillWorks-vi6oj oh that’s awesome they are planning on doing 13.7 stuff
First!!! Sexy looking rifle!! About to order from you guys for sling retention. Do you have any multicam black coming any time soon?
I have MC black pull tabs in stock now 🤙🏻
I built my own 13.7 (pen and welder) and I love it. It's a size AR. I put a Holosun 510c on her
Very Nice! I’ve built a bunch…I never got ballsy enough to do the P&W myself 😂. 510C is a reliable optic too🤙🏻
Thank you
Welcome 🤙🏻
Whats the total weight of that setup?
I’d say it was 10+lbs with everything. Base DD W/RIS II is about 7-7.5lbs
why do you have an offset red dot when you already have a holographic? what's with the reddit magwell too?
It’s a back up sight…the magwell is awesome. It Adds a flared well to standard pattern AR lower receivers. And what’s a Reddit?
i love spikes lowers man. they do quality work. i use them for my block 2 cqbr and URGI
This was the first lower I bought(2013 time frame) and I couldn’t let it go…it’s seen a lot of use in 11yrs
Is that a 12 inch handguard?
the RIS II is a 12.25 Rail
What color are the rail covers
Sage Green I believe
My 2010 gx460 currently stuck on 4Lo not sure how to fix it
Great overview, I’ve been trying to find more info on this system but it’s hard to find outside of the companies own material. Do you use a standard buffer spring and weight? Do you know if this system struggles to cycle with heavier springs/weights?
I just purchased a pistol light from ADE ADVANCED OPTICS, it included a CR123A battery, but nowhere in the.manual.it stated the battery is rechargeable. Can you please advice me if you think is rechargeable? I have a charger just like yours.
I wouldn’t put it on a charger unless it states “rechargeable” on the battery itself.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj thank you, if the battery is not rechargeable would the Nitecore recharger give an error or warning?
After going through a few dozen of similar videos yours is far and away the best.
Much appreciated 🤙🏻
Man, this was a good video, but I think you’re better than this video and I think you’re better than your gun let’s invest in a different suppressor for an SPR maybe lol
😂I don’t disagree
What padding did you use for that Ex Umbris beer can?
I used to sell a kit on my website. Called a BUNKER kit. It’s a 1/8” thick neoprene foam with Velcro adhered to it.
@@MillWorks-vi6oj I detect a modified Nalgene coozy in my near future. Just discovered your site…I think you may be reading my mind… 100% ordering your TW retention setup.
Great build. The magwell you're using, I have the same on my MK18.
What’s your buffer weight and are you running suppressed at all?
H1, no suppressor
Wanting to build a new sbr for work I came across the clone scene and I definitely want to do something similar. However my current parts list includes the ris2, a colt upper, rc2. And I also have a Unity mount and t2. So unsure if there are other clones that would align with what I already have. The reason I went with t2 instead of Eotech was for the Unity built in rear sight. But the option of just removing the qd to access the buis was always in the back of my head.
What’s the weight on that build?
Ooof…it’s heavy…probably 13-14lbs all in
@@MillWorks-vi6ojwow that’s more than would have thought. Looks cool tho, and that’s the point anyways haha
I just bought a 2011 base model a few months ago and I think yours looks great! Itching to do my first mods. Curious if you had to do any cutting, heat gun or bolt removal to prevent the tire rubbing? Or did the lift help prevent the tire rubbing?
@@MillWorks-vi6oj Thanks for the reply. Please post more videos!
Beautiful.
Where did you get the sling holder?
You say you now have the 3. This m4, the spr and the reckie. What's a reckie?
I’m now running a “RECCE” setup with a P&W BCM 14.5 and a Carbine with a P&W Rosco 13.7. I change setups regularly. The RECCE is a phrase for a recon rifle.
@MillWorks-vi6oj i have the rosco 13.7 p/w already and have the chance to get a 14.5 ddm4a1 p/w for a pretty good deal used. Do you think these have too much overlapping of roles? I mean, 2 is 1 and 1 is none but can 1 do anything that the other cannot? The 13.7 is in a lightweight config vs the 14.5 is a quad rail so there is that.
Have u messed with the gas/buffer system on it? These mfs are bouncy af i feel with the carbine gas system. I wonder how a heavier buffer wpuld do
Dumb question? Whars your watch ?
Resco Manus - Grey Dial w/ Suunto Clip on compass on a Resco NATO band

Looks good. Glad to see a new video on here.
What buffer weight are you running?
I ran H2 and H1. Preferred the H2
