What pisses me off about every comment section under any Kate video is how many people comment how gorgeous and attractive she is as if that's the only thing she's good at. She's more than just a pretty face. If y'all actually took the time to listen to her you would know how smart she is as a human being. How wise she is. How poetic she is but nobody cares about that. All people care about is how sexy she is.
Not me, she is an extremely intelligent woman with many layers and insights and although not so evident in this interview, she has a wonderful sense of humour. It's a cliché, but beauty is more than skin deep and despite the fact Kate is obviously beautiful, this is greatly amplified by who she is as an individual.
No one is dismissing her acting talent. You yourself are probably a "fan" because of her looks. I mean, would you be here defending her "talent" if she looked like a bag lady??? Probably not. You might wanna grab a dictionary and look up the word HYPOCRITE.
She is brilliant and educated and funny and mischievous too. She’s entertaining on talk shows. She’s awake and right there during interviews. Those are all plusses to the fact of her alluring beauty and she has an easy voice to listen to. If it weren’t for all that, I wouldn’t be watching. That said, I cannot take my eyes off of her.
That’s exactly the vibe I get from Kate, I’m glad she said it here: she only started to feel comfortable with her beauty and femininity in her late twenties....and now she’s making up for lost time because she looks better in her fifties than in her twenties....! Beckinsale doesn't need to be 'dolled up' and having the video look like someone put a gun to your head and made you apply all the skin softening effects in the book doesn't do anyone any favors. Just bouncing the lights on a larger piece of foam core instead of using those soft-boxes would have been courteous enough. Does exactly what all these filters do but less messy and obvious. Great interview though! As always!
