Love all your tips and a lot of them will work in our travel trailer, too!We sold our 16 year-old trailer last spring and bought a new one. I went shopping on Amazon and a BIG haul @ Dollar Tree to get all new storage and organization needs along replacing a lot of my other old stuff ; I now have REAL dishes in my new trailer! While I was waiting in line @ DT, another shopper asked if I bought a new house and I excitedly answered, "No, a new trailer"! Yes I agree, the word for January is "ORGANIZATION!😄

Lots of good organization ideas. Breaking down organizing projects is a great idea. When I was teaching we used to “chunk” projects for students who would get overwhelmed looking at the requirements for an entire project.

Great tips! I got my air tight containers from Temu. A set of 24 (not including the lids, literally 24 containers) for $24. Yes they’re BPA free and they’re amazing! I know people feel a certain way about Temu, but where do you think the stuff at Dollar Tree is coming from? It’s coming from China. Anyway, soooo many great finds on Temu and more than half the stuff from Temu is being sold on Amazon for more than triple the price. Oh! And those black baskets? I got them in gold and hang them in my bathroom wall with command strips. They hold my washcloths, makeup spa head band and the wristlets, and so much more. And it looks great!
Can I just say how much I dislike microfiber towels?? Anyone else?? I know this won't be a very liked comment, sorry!!! I guess what I dislike the most is washing them. Any suggestions??

My craft area is my organization's nightmare. It's mainly because I have a very small area for crafting. After all, it's in our office that my husband and I share. We live in a small two-bedroom house.
Liz, I saw someone take paper napkins, wrap one around a roll of toilet paper, tuck the ends into the hole and stack on your shelf for that decorative finish - you can find napkins for just about any occasion and do just seasonal if you want or put in your guest bathroom

Are the jot wire net connectors not available anymore? I can find ever jot item but the connectors... I've look on the website and app but there's nothing/ no trace of them ever existing.. if you have any suggestions as to how I can acquired the link at least I'd be grateful
I would use the smaller openings in your pantry for taller bottles/boxes, i.e., oil, vinegar, cereal, etc.

Liz I'm a big fan but feel your hacks/organization videos are becoming too repetetive.
I do love your ideas. But I do not have money to keep buying new baskets and things that are in style or new season. I have to keep the baskets that I bought just last year. I wish a video to show restyling that doesn't cost me. I as we😢as many people like to republish the old without having to buy the new style. My pocket book can not keep buying without a real need for what I buy.
I reuse large jars like mayonnaise and peanut butter jars. Over the years I have collected quite a few. It may not be aesthetically appealing but it helps the environment.

I have my spices on turntables in alphabetical order, makes them a lot easier to find. I just did this organization in August 2023.

If you use the duct tape method… be sure to put the same color on the door to the room where the boxes go. Bathroom 1, bathroom 2, etc

LOVE your Vids!! They are always SO good!! Thank you for outlining this process again in a different way. I seem to gradually be able to implement a little more over time. I always forget “organize for the space not the stuff”. It helps having a place to start like you suggested with 12 x 12 or 13 x 13 cubes. How helpful knowing how many fit the average closet and that equals your categories! Your paper cutting tip is genius! Thank you!! ( & I, too, often find myself becoming suddenly very motivated when told “no” or that something isn’t possible or wrong for me. 😂)

Dollar tree used to sell the hanging baskets that hung from a shelf. I used to have a bunch of them. I recently redid my laundry room where I had them, and no longer needed that style of storage. I wonder if the dollar tree will bring those back? I also have mesh hanging grocery bag dispensers that the dollar tree used to sell. I love those things. They Velcro in place. I have them hanging on the sides of my wire door mount shelving system in the laundry room. I have one on each side. One is stuffed with old cleaning rags. They are easy to pull out to use in a hurry. The other one has plastic store bags, that I use for the trash can, and for cleaning out the litter box. I wish dollar tree would bring those back as well. They are very well made and I’ve used them for 15 or so years now.
Were they the wire hanging baskets? I see those sometimes when it starts to get more towards the spring and summer.
@@lizfenwickdiy yes, they were wire. Just not as heavy duty as the ones you showed in the video. I bought them a long time ago, but I could definitely see Dollar tree bringing them back. Especially now that so many people are into organizing. I’ve always been an organizer since I was a kid in the ‘70s. It’s so much easier now, because every store sells stuff to organize with.

I moved and have the slide onto shelf some are drawer type or bins yet they slide on and hang under. Yet. Now I have wire shelves and need to find something to easy and cheap to put only where I need to add them. As. Since not wood shelves and wire the sliders will not stay as not solid. And also tons of risers and corner and some had zip ties on so could have things above and under. Any ideas. A cheap easy fast way I could put only on areas I need to use these as wire shelf fall thru so will not work. Any and all idea would be appreciated!!! And thanks
