Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the last. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. I kept investing, but I couldn't determine whether to start paying for a house. In the end, I sold my positions, and the house needed more work than I had planned. I'm not sure how long I can keep going like this

We've all made mistakes at some point. You should consider financial planning

True. My portfolio was diversified across several markets with the help of a financial planner, and were able to achieve over a million in net profit among high dividend yield equities, ETFs, and bonds. It is vital that you have a variety of exposure, including in firms that are currently generating cash flows.

Last few points. So true. College's roi is sooo low compared to the early 2000s. At the same time, young people should avoid starting a business - losing money at a young age is the worst thing to start your 20s. University is, should only be, for STEM degrees.
I would suggest go to a trade school or take a degree that has specific skills you earn before graduating. Dont take business degree because all theyll teach is theory - nothing applicable for doing business. Take marketing or investment management degrees that lead you to be useful for a business. Important if they provide internship opportunities

    Escape 9to5 to enter 24/7 😅🥲🙂
(Funny enough, Steve from the comment below, I have been doing exactly that for years. My comment is meant to point out - for those who may not realize it - the small distinction between "escaping something" and exchanging it for something much more demanding. With that said... let's move on, and ahead.)

Having done it for years, 24/7 of that adds value and substance beats any single paycheck at a mediocre, meaningless 9-5.

Ed my take away is the SSS, I have question for you how do I go about finding investors for a product that we have designed and filed for a patent. We want to go to market with it but the startup is a lot upfront but the ROI can be a crazy amount. This product is for oil field that every well would use.

being careful to order off a menu is very smart. these menus, commercial spaces and servers are full of surprises , junk ingredients , undisclosed and false advertising. I want gluten free, I don't want sugar in my dairy. I don't want surprises. It's called diligence. I'll hire somebody in Acquisitions if they're careful with their ordering off the menu. I watch the person if he's judging me or another person based on their discussion with the server. I won't do business with Impatient people who are judging another's diligence and discussion.
