Sarah Paulson was incredible as Linda Tripp, sometimes she was so excellent it was laughable. The scene with the lady at the breakfast table struggling to "rotate" the waffle iron, with Linda saying "Jesus Christ, May I!" That was hysterical.
Sarah is such an amazing actress she made me sympathize with a whistleblower
Exposing an affair is not whistleblowing.
Had she not whistleblown, Monica would could have ended up like Monroe.
Its not Whistleblowing when you try and profit from it.
Sarah Paulson reminds me of Faye Dunaway. Not in looks, but in the fact that when either of them play a role it is THAT character. You don’t see Faye or Sarah preforming ‘as’ and rather ‘is’ the role they play.
"rotate" the fact she's an expert at making waffles is so darkly, pathetically, hilarious. Also, why would they include product placement/magazines that they'd have to censor ?
The only likable person for me is Linda’s daughter, Allison. The Linda Tripp moment I enjoyed as karmic was the episode in which Sarah Paulson is watching Linda being portrayed by John Goodman on SNL. Despite her denial to her daughter, you could see the hurt on her face the way the camera panned in and out.

@@ramsescult8863 thanks, I believe it was seven and they showed a real montage of late night jokes. The irony was she thought it was going to make Monica and Bill look bad as it introduced Monica first. I was in my thirties then and when I saw it air my reaction was it was the meanest thing they did but well deserved and appropriate. I’m a lifelong Democrat😂😂

I love the whole series it's the best thing I've seen all year and believe me I've seen a lot Sarah Paulson is terrific and the gal who did Monica they were all terrific

Besides being highly intelligent, Tripp was known for her sense of humour. Paulson's portrayal was brilliant.

I don’t get the hype about her acting. She seemed like she was overacting and reading from a script on the phone call scene
I think that was intentionally done to mimic how Linda might have acted in awkward and overexaggerated ways in real life

Why is Linda being painted as the bad guy?? This episode was the worse of the entire season!!! It became more and more of todays world to water down any responsibility Bill had to take and even Monica!!! Sham!!!
