Secret transportation carried out in plain sight. I’ve seen an interview with a fella who was involved in Area 51 and he told his wife he was a tv repairman. He caught a secret flight in plain sight daily with many others to repair tvs at Area 51.

You make it sound like there were multiple variants of the blackbird when there were just a few, the A-12, M-21 which was used to launch the D-21 drones before the B-52 was modified for them, the A-12 2 seat trainer, the YF-12 and the SR-71 A and B with the latter being a trainer. And the one built from salvaged parts was known as the SR-71 C and the D-21 was considered to be part of the Blackbird family.
