I think the number 1 problem would be number 1, and the number 2 problem would be, well, number 2. Hair would likely be number 3...(snicker) Let's see the robovac handle that.
there is one super important feature in this vacuum. the side arms are spinning very slowly and this is perfect for picking up small dirt like birds seeds and so. all of my pervious vacuums arms are spinning so fast and throwing the small dirt's all over the place
Why was it impressive? We never did get to see it clean, and that was it trying its best, recharding, trying again, recharging.......how many times did they have to refill the water and dump the dirty water, and how long was this? Days? A week?
@@ian3580 Based on the speed and fps of the video, I'd estimate that clip was a time-lapse of about an hour to two hours. Pretty good imo of a bot that's pretty small in comparison to the show-cased mess that seemed to be dried on top of that. Also, it was said that both the fresh water and grey water can be plumbed in. Is it expensive? Absolutely, but the tech is brand-spankin' new at the same time. Think back to when TVs, radios, washing machines, or even LEDs were new - they were all expensive when they came out as well.
I like the novel brush design and being able to hardline the stink water to a drain, they've got a ways to go though. The Roborock I have has a camera in addition to the LIDAR, and can do everything else it does. Nothing worse than cat poop being pushed around all day, the camera avoids it altogether and sends a notification with a picture that there is pet waste on the ground.

I bought my Narwal Freo based on your last recommendation/ad and overall, I'm pleased. The robot does what it should.. mostly. It struggles with chair legs, spending 30 min or more to navigate our kitchen table unless we put the chairs on top of the table. Also, the app isn't great. Quite a few bugs to work out still.
I don't know... I think the wife is beginning to upstage you a little. She has a relaxed and fun on-camera presence. But even though this was a sponsor video, it was still fun and engaging. Kudos for that. Now I want this machine...
With my wife and I both in a wheelchair, I really am giving this product some consideration. I also get around by scooting on the floor and having a clean floor is one the major reasons I hire a house cleaner each month. Manual labor is not as cheap as it used to be, and although this is very pricey, it just may be worth it in the long run.
They should do a month free trial. If it can survive my four cats, then I'd replace the whole house with them just because of the hair innovation. Currently my shark models get enough fuzz wrapped around the roller and it triggers a warning and shut down. It's very sensitive. But I'd have to see it in person in practice to believe it.
A suggestion about the robot and the way it stores the solid garbage it picks from the floor. The bag, even with a compactor, doesn't store enough. The idea is to empty the bag automatically. Now, the resting/charging place for the robot is at the bottom of the base/bin. Say that you add an elevator to the system, so the resting place is at the top of the bin. At this point, you can add another mechanism, which remove the bag full of garbage and store it somewhere in the bin, and replace it with a new empty bag. In this manner, the "refresh" operation is fully automated, and there is a chance that I would buy it. I live in the UK, and in my house I have replaced all the carpets with normally cleanable floor tiles. I would also build, in the garden, an enclosed pen for that tiny and very cute horse; they would appreciate standing on ground&grass more than on a floorboard. Thanks for the video, and all the best for both of you. Greetings, Anthony
Thumbs up for the mop scrubbing force, can they be washed or do you need to buy replacements? Unrelated but I’m curious, is Cambry team Android or Team Apple?
The pads get cleaned inside the base station! So they last for a really long time. They can also be easily replaced. And unfortunately Cambry is team iPhone.
I may be judgemental here but I have cleaned up after a horse for quite a few years and I am fairly sure a robot vacuum cleaner isn't built for that task! It may have sensors but I don't know if it has a 'poop avoid' sensor.😷
The robot looks great, but I have a problem with how they're advertising their discount. If you pay $99 for a $400 off coupon, you're only getting $300 off. On their site, they look like you're getting a $1399 machine for $999, but you're actually paying $1198 once you take the discount. Also, the coupon expires after a short time, which there is no excuse for... and I believe it's actually illegal in some states. All-in-all, the company is using some practices that are shady at best, and likely illegal in some places. It's a shame because it looks like a good product.
Someone we know asked if my 12 year old would like to train their 8 month old mini pony (just like this one) to be a support horse. They are used to take in nursing homes, hospitals, etc. I am thinking no as theirs is a little too spicy. I took her in the round pen last week and she tried to kick me multiple times right at knee level.
