Hi, if you don't have hardware graphic acceleration as shown in 0:30, you may want to try to unchecked Optimized character..., Update document..., and Use subpixels..., they worked for me.

These didn't work for me but I opened same document in browser (viewonline) and it works fast there. It days say "Compatability Mode, functionality currently limited" and that's why it's faster I guess. It loads essential functionality only.
