I want to thank you and your husband so much! I just got accepted into my top nursing school choice! in two years I will have my BSN. I Currently have a BS in health studies.
Thank you for the awesome comment, Andrea. I really appreciate you taking the time to write it. I'm glad you like the videos :) Very awesome about getting accepted. I hope to see you more on here :)
So helpful! I'm now 4 years out of high school with an associates degree and I've been struggling on figuring out what to do as a career so this was a huge help.
This video helped me yet again! I recently got accepted into the Allied health program at my local hospital! They will teach me collage level Anatomy and Medical Terminology, as well as CPR and first AID. after I learn the basics I will be able to help the RN's out at the hospital by taking patients vitals. and doing some other stuff as well! I'm so excited and so grateful for this opportunity! I'm only in 10th grade and next year I get to start the program! at the end of the program I will be a CNA. which is awesome in highschool! my GPA is 3.9 and I'm trying so hard to keep it up so that I can go to a great nursing school! My neighbor recently finished nursing school and is now a LPN. She is going to lend me her anatomy books! I'm so excited, but nervous.
+Tagan Riley That is so awesome, Tagan! This will provide you with some excellent experience and prepare you for being a nurse. The anatomy and medical terminology classes will be very, very helpful for you. I think it is so great there are programs like this out there. Your GPA is amazing and you will do fantastic in nursing school. Keep up the awesome work!
love your videos! can you please do a video on tips for geriatrics class? there isn't as much practice questions online or helpful tips about passing gerontology. we have finals in 2 weeks and any advice would be great!
+Mary Chan Hi Mary :) Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment...I appreciate it. I actually just recently uploaded a video on how to study for geriatrics. You can view it here: ua-cam.com/video/BVDLlWOaqkM/v-deo.html I share study tips and how to prep for the exams in this class. Also, you may be interested in my other how to study for certain classes in nursing school videos. I have put them in a playlist which has other videos in it that deals with studying for nursing school: ua-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfWBO40qeDmmaMwMHJEWc9Ms.html I hope that helps :)
Thank you for your videos! They helped me so much with Anatomy and Physiology. I was wondering if you would be able to do a Pathophysiology lecture playlist? If you could I would very much appreciate it!
+Eliza Alvarado Hello Eliza :) Thank you very much for your comment! I'm so happy the A&P lectures helped you. The patho playlist is a great idea. Are you wanting me to put existing videos I already have into a playlist so they are easier to find for patho? Or are you wanting me to create a Patho series? If so, what subjects are you interested in learning? Right now, I am in the middle of a NCLEX and ATI series, so it will be a while before I get to it, but it is a great idea for the future. Again thank you for watching my videos...I appreciate it so much!!
+RegisteredNurseRN If you could, for now put existing videos into a playlist so they're easier to find. And maybe when you're done with the Nclex series make more videos for Patho? I'm not sure on which topics exactly, I begin the course next month... But I want to get a little head start or an idea of it before I go into the class! Thank you! :)
Eliza Alvarado Awesome! Thanks for getting back to me. I've created the playlist and you can access it here: ua-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfVmhC2RWJapeCJ3C73ZgffH.html I wish you the best in this class :) I hope the videos help!
Hello again :) I actually have an in-depth NCLEX review series on the endocrine system that comes with lectures notes and free NCLEX quizzes. You can access the playlist here: ua-cam.com/play/PLQrdx7rRsKfWY__T0MLUDUSAznmgWURT0.html I hope that helps!
hello i enjoy your information given regarding all these topics.. Do you have information on Dialysis nurse ? That's my main interest upon passsing nclex..
Hello :) Thank you so much for watching my videos! No, I currently don't have a video on how to be a dialysis nurse, but I may create one in the future. Thanks for the suggestion ;-)
+Angie Soltero You're very welcome, Angie! I'm so happy you liked the video :) Thanks for taking the time to comment and watch the video. Best wishes in nursing school!
Thanks for watching the video! I really depends on where you work. Most hospitals require you to be 18...however, I have heard of some hiring at the of 16, but I think many like for you to be 18 for legal and liability issues. I would email local hospitals and ask the age requirement.
+Yasmine Constantine They are just two different types of accreditation that a school can acquire, which indicates that the school meets certain minimum standards in education. Most people consider regional accreditation to be best and national accreditation to be second best. Most schools will list their type of accreditation for their school/nursing program online, and you can see which type it is by searching it online. Some Boards of Nursing may require that you obtain a degree from an accredited school before sitting for NCLEX.
+Hillary Tucker Hello Hillary :) Thanks for your question. We actually have a video on nurse midwife, and you can view it here: ua-cam.com/video/r7-45QyfDOw/v-deo.html I hope that helps :)

Do all programs require gpa
Do we apply to the program and then get invited to take the exam?
Hello! Nice video! I heard that at the ages 16-17 you can start being a cna. is it true

Can you explain what does it mean for national or regional accredited schools ?
