The Bass Gang members NEVER met in person. They plan to meet first time this summer, they're crowdfunding to get to. I really hope they get to do so. Considering what they can do without being in the same place, and without having ever MET, what could they do being together in the same place? 😁

funny story, jonathan young is a bass himself, so they all, litterally all 5 of them have a creazy range ^^
jonathan young is also a very suggested artist, creazy good vocalist, tho maybe his genere is not for everybody ^^
also, tomi P, the one going really really high has a couple of nice songs as well "hellfire is my favouritr personally"
I love bass gang and I love jonathan young. If you haven't listened to any of Jonathan's stuff, I recommend checking him out. He does lots of rock and metal covers of songs and he is SO GOOD
I suggest "the wellerman- misty mountains", it's like a bass singer's party (the bass gang, J.young, Colm Mcguinness ecc)

The melody you were trying at the end is from the song Tom's Diner. It's originally from Suzanne Vega but there is a great version by AnnenMayKantereit x Giant Rooks that is a must listen to if you have not heard it before.

You used the word elegant about Bobby's voice, I finally remembered where I thought that exact word regarding his voice. Bobby Bass sings a version of Sound of Silence that is simple, elegant and absolutely gorgeous.

Acapella is a great genre; there are tons of groups. Bass Gang is pretty cool. Home Free is more country. Pentatonix is pop. Voiceplay is somewhat Disney and pop. PTX is absolutely the best overall. But there is a great deal to say about all of them. React to just about anything by the 4 groups please. Bass for Voiceplay is Geoff Castalucci; react to his solo version of 'Sixteen Tons'. He should be part of hte Bass Gang too, lol. For something fun, react to 'Hip Hop Goes Broadway I and II' by Superfruit (Mitch and Scott from PTX). Home Free start out with 'Man of Constant Sorrow'. PTX I think you might try 'Hallelujah' to begin with.
Don't forget Voctave! They're a mixed ensemble so a bit different from the other 4, but they are great too.
Sorry, PTX isn't the best overall. Just recently they were voted off the most recent season of The Masked Singer in favor of other solo voices that were actually much better. I don't even listen to them myself as I don't like them and never have. Avi did himself a favor by not being the token bass singer. Faring way better on his own and will listen to him anytime :)
