The fun joke going around is that the Bass Gang said, "Who can we get to sing tenor for Hooked on a Feeling? We should ask Tim Foust, he'd be perfect!!" 🤔😁😂
Like My Maria that he did with Austin and Chris, "We have a world class bass and 2 world class tenors; who sings the high line?"
😂😂
@@nancyholter5646 😅
Right?? The bassiest of basses sings the tenor part-gotta love it❤
Would you believe that The Bass Gang; although a group, have never met. Two of the guys are from the US, one from Egypt and the other from another foreign country.
Thank you so much for the reaction!
🎼🗣🎼 .. you cracked me up Anthony .. I say the same thing as you ... "... THAT BASS ! ..." This is such a great collaboration. All of these dudes can hit the extremely low notes. You should check out another tune from the bass gang. And as you stated , Tim Foust - from HomeFree - is great low to high. Loved this .. keep on rockin' brother !! 🔥🔥🔥☠️🔥🔥🔥
Love Tim Foust/Home Free, The Bass Gang, this song AND this reaction. 🔥❤
Edit: Oh, and I'm doing ok. Thanks for asking.
Misty mountain, cant believe you havent seen it, tim foust hits the craziest note ever lol
You should watch Peter Barber’s reaction to this. He explains how they did this awesome video!!
Way to work your beatboxing. Enjoyed Bass Gang but I'm here for you.
The guy who’s sweater you like is Peter Barber. You you should check out his reaction/analysis of this recording. He can give insights on who his doing what in the background.
So happy to see you enjoying this! I really enjoyed your reaction!
For the last decade, there has been a "top 3" a cappella groups. Tim Foust, guest lead, is with Home Free -- you've met them already, and did a special reaction to their beatboxer, Adam Rupp. Lately, these 4 young men (who have never met face to face -- geographically challenged) have been making a name for themselves, fast joining a new "top 4". Having Tim Foust feature in this production is perfect! The Bass Gang has a huge range of talents and training. Their arrangements are amazing. The guy in the sweater you like is Peter Barber. He is an opera singer, and gave his own reaction to the video the first time he saw it -- he was downright giddy about working with Tim. In fact, he has been reacting to Home Free for a couple of years on his own channel. If you didn't recognize Tim at first, probably because he cut his hair and lets the gray show now.
Tim is amazingly generous with his time!! I know the Bass King was thrilled!!
Great reaction!! Before this was released publicly The Bass Gang reached out to some reactors that react to both groups told them to react to a untitled video with a mystery collaborator oh the reactions were hilarious plus Peter Barber ( the one you like his sweater) is also a reactor he also did a reaction to this video because he never seen the finished product he was like a kid in a candy store because of having worked with Tim lol
The bass gang is so creative with their productions..they mostly let Tim shine in the lower range(as the “guest”)..they all pretty much live in the basement. As for the sweater..you can ask your fellow UA-camr Peter Barber☺️‼️
The sweater you like belongs to Peter Barber. A great music reactionist, opera signer, and member of the Bass Gang. You could probably ask him about the sweater :)
Peter ( with the nice jumper) also has a reaction channel, YELLOW FLICKER BEAT | Bass Singers Acapella Cover ft. Colm McGuinness is well worth watching, but then you'll be hooked on Colm.........
How great was that! Love having Tim sing with the Bass Gang. Tim is the growl master but he can also sing high. I have always liked this song done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974 who both added the "ooga chaka" part. What makes this collaboration even more impressive is that none of the guys were even together.
This is so much fun. Peter Barber, the guy with the sweater, also has a channel where he does reactions. He nad not seen the video and did a reaction. He was absolutely giddy about working with Tim. So hard to believe that they did this from 5 separate locations. The Bass Gang members have never met in person, although they are scheduled to record together this summer.
Just saying, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE GUYS, but hearing your voice, you, too!!! ❤
it's all even more amazing and impressive when you consider they live in different places never met in person and record it all green screen and separately, Bless the editor
Oh, this was _fun_ -- really enjoyed it!
So glad you enjoyed it! Peter's sweater does look nice. It is so cool that this was done with all of the guys scattered around the world, kudos to the persons that put it all together.
They’re so good. Love it. I heard the bass gang hasn’t even met. They’re on different continents. Love the song and their shenanigans. So cute. Good reaction and beatboxing Anthony!😍
Most likely not what you expect when 5 bass singers sing together...
Did you know, Tim Foust has a range from Tenor 1 to Basso Profundo
Home Free just announced dates for a leg of their current tour going thru Europe, tickets go on sale this Friday. I know this isn't Home Free, but it does feature Tim Foust, and as the newest video, it's likely he will be looking at comments over the next day or so at least.
I love watching all the initial reactions when the video just dropped and it was literally untitled with no warning whatsoever and all the fans lost their sh!t... all 3.5 of them. I wish these guys had more recognition honestly
I totally love this song and I love what they did with it!❤ I had never heard of these guys before, had even watched Peter’s (the guy with the sweater 🤭) reactions many times and didn’t realize until after watching a few other reactors that it was him in this group! I had to watch HIM reacting to this video and how proud he was that they were able to do a video with Tim!! This was so awesome!! So glad you enjoyed it! 👍 Loving your reactions!👏👏👏
I'm glad you enjoyed that one. Peter Barber is also an opera singer and UA-cam reactor. When he finally got to hear the finished music video he did a reaction to that too!
I just want to say that finding a reactor who not only has musical knowledge with insightful and interesting things to share, but is also very pleasant on the ears themselves, is such a gift.
Tim's range in this song is insane. Bass Gang aren't bad at all. Amazing song.❤️
If you get the chance to the Bass Gang did a cover of Centuries with Jonathan Young i think you would really like as well.
The guy with the sweater is Peter barber, he is also a reactor.
I love your reactions. There is a brilliant example of Tim's vocal range in a short clip called HOME FREE- RING OF FIRE (The Sing-Off) Please do have a listen to it.
How are you bro. Thanks for asking. Glad to make it through another holiday that's just not the same without my mom just saying cause I never say it much
Anthony. Bet you could hit some of those lows bro just saying I'm only half way through thinking you could
So sorry for your loss❤ I lost my mom last January so Sunday was kinda tough.
@@roniboyd613 thank you so much and I'm so sorry for your loss as well. I lost my mom at age 15 which has been decades but as fresh as the day I lost her everytime important holidays roll by. Life has never been the same without her I wish she could've been here with me the entire way I love her that much til the day I'm gone as well. Thank you for the thoughts as mine are with your loss as well. Moms are the world to us all.
I luv a capella 🤩 I've heard singers say it's easier to sing lead than do the background harmonies. Home Free is my favorite group.
Check out more bass gang
Five Octave Foust?? ❤
I like his sweater too 😍😁
The most amazing thing about this is they were in different locations when they made this.
This is a fun song so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
So glad you liked this! I hope you’ll check out more of The Bass Gang’s music-they’re just getting started, minimum resources (getting better now that they’re on Patreon) and have yet to meet in person. There’s some serious talent in this group.
Speaking of, I loved your rap intro. NICE!!
The guy kneeling in front of Tomi P is his manager Casper Fox. He's an a cappella singer too if I remember right. The guy is the sweater if Peter Barber, an opera singer show has his own reaction channel. His reaction to this video was his first time seeing the finished product. The guy with the curly hair is Bobby Bass. the rose eater is Marwan, from Egypt. I think he's only 19 or 20. This song was featured in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. the character Star Lord wore a short red leather jacket, a lot like the one Tim found to wear in the video.
The eating the rose was a nod to a song with Home Free where Tim eats a rose!
I just realized that the one guy in this is a reactor. I love watching him. He’s called something like bassist reacts. The one who had the sweater you like
Peter Barber
Thank you for asking, I'm doing great. Love your excitement at these reactions. The Bass Gang is an up and coming group who is having to work long distance because they are on 3 separate continents. They had not even met in person yet! Amazing. Yes put Voiceplay on your radar too. They are top tier. Perhaps start with My Mother Told Me.
I’m so glad you like the guys!!! Amazing reaction as always!
Tim did this for them because he liked them. He put them on the map. Tim is great!
Tim Foust has a 5+ octave range. Along with duets with Peter Hollens (on Hollens channel) and duets with Austin Brown (on Austin's channel), Tim also has duets with Chris Rupp (on Chris' channel). Tim also has his own channel & he and Austin have a side project with other singers/song writers/musicians "Sweet & Low Music Co." By the way, they're both also song writers. Tim & Auston also do fund-raising for a veteran's charity .
Hey Anthony, check out "Mayday" by Home Free. You'll be surprised, maybe speachless.... 😉
Tim is pretty awesome as is The Bass Gang !!!
Tim has a five octave range...the man can sing anything!!! You need to check out some of his solo stuff....will blow your mind!!
Someone mentioned this in passing below. Peter Barber (you really liked his sweater) did his own reaction episode to this, shortly after it came out, and gave a lot of info on the making of this video. Worth hunting up.
🔥 🔥 🔥
Honestly. Not doing the greatest.
Too much time on my hands. So I'm thinking about the lyrics to your song.
I sometimes struggle with my mind being a dark place. If you have time on your hands, maybe picking up an extra hobby or pass time is possible? Just trouble shooting
Thank you. I didn't expect you to respond.
Believe it or not, I made a playlist of your songs to listen to at work and I feel much better now.
He has an amazing range. If you haven't seen it yet pull up Tim Foust ''Misty Mountains''
Have you done Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens feat. Tim Foust?
I've not seen a reaction where you smiled this much! It's great to see. This is one I watch at least every few days - always picks me up.
You need to listen to the original artist who sung this song. Blue Swede is the original artists that sang this song. I grew on the oldies songs. The best is always the originals, but these guys gave it another swag. Anyway, love you as a rapper Anthony, and I must say I was never into rap, but I like how you put it our there. Take care. God Bless.
This song was done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974.
You are absolutely correct my mistake in typing. I should have put listen to the original artists (Plural) instead of artist. I love the oldies, I grew up on these songs and not to many can recreate them. They can put their own touch to them, but really are not the same to me. Thanks for the correction as it was my fault in typing. Take care and God Bless.
@@etcurran3107 No problem. I heard B.J. Thomas' version first.
@@dagmar.6954 Thank you though, I should really reread what I type first. LOL!! Thanks again, greatly appreciated it. Take care.
They killed it
Have watched a good many reactions to this song and yours is the only one reaction that i have enjoyed others stop at every note they do and do their own interpretation of the note. I want a reaction that tell it all at yhe end and see if the reacters have same expression i do. Kudos to u for your reaction
I got say dude i love your reaction videos
❤❤
YOU MUST REACT JENNIE YOU N ME REMIX AT COACHELLA PLEASE!!!
