Dude. Because of you I got from 6th-8th to almost always top 3 in a couple of weeks. I'm still rank 4k but I'm growing fast thanks to you. Thanks! I was anxious to learn BG before the new update because I thought I'd have to start all over again but now I'm excited for it and I'm ready! And it's all because of your guides and gameplay.
It’s such a fun way to play hearthstone. I’ve been playing standard since closed beta. Switched to BGs a few weeks ago. So much more fun. I’m almost 6K! Shits getting a lot harder now though more people understanding what to do like the tips mentioned in this video!
@@peterevans2854I’m new to hearthstone, does standard have a lot of bots? I’ve played like 30 in it matches and I think I’ve only fought bots who play instantly
I have tried 4 on 4 for a few days and some times lose horribly but most of times it will keep u a top 4 at least. I did one today and it was insane. I did 41 damage at turn 10 and 40 damage the turn after and did another 24 and 34 to secure me the win by turn 13.
I know everyone likes to bash HS but this video makes me appreciate the dev team and the level of effort to keep things changing and fresh, which is the only reason why people keep playing, even several years since initial release. Having said that, the complexity of the game also increases, making it tough for newer players. Like most, we really appreciate all your guides. Even if they don’t provide same # of views, they make the transition MUCH easier. A huge THANK YOU for all you do.
@@serrafersebastian3743 it’s like when you ask yourself if you can freeze a triple for a 6-drop - freezing it would be greed, taking a 5 would be tempo
I do really really well in battlegrounds until usually the last 3 turns when my strategy seems to stop working and I really struggle. These tips reqlly actually helped
bro, what does it mean to scale, what should you actually do late game to increase stats? I haven t understood a thing :)) just that we have to think 2-3 waves ahead. I can t think for the current wave
If your PC is bad you cant wait as long, if you put down a minion at 2 sec left, Bob will put it back to your hand, so waiting in a turn can be detremental.
i actually was wondering, does that other desk in the room is his or does he have a colleague? but then again, the bed looks 1 person. And why woul you keep your shoes in closed boxes? ???
Just tried a 4 on 4 to "see if it's all hyped up to be" with Van Cleef at 7.5kish MMR. Pulled off a 2nd with Cooked Book Elementals with basically a huge tripled cyclone with a single lil rag for scaling and swapping out minions when a bigger version came up. Would have taken first if I didn't lose a 70%+ win fight.
Especially when Pirates and Elementals are in the game I try to push through early game quickly to grind tripples at 4 for Nomi, Hogger, Bran and Baron
Being risky because you have a lead, or even to get a lead. Example, leveling instead of rolling knowing your going to take some damage doing it, but hoping that level will net you higher minions soon.
I feel like in the past I could more easily plan ahead. What types do I want, what synergies do I want, what synergies work. What are my strongest opponents playing and how can I counter it. Now it feels like I need to start building as much stats as possible as fast as possible and counter the current opponent only since players will have large minions very early.
4 on 4 sounds interesting, wondering if you should look for easy to complete quests to regain tempo or late game quests as you have the ability to buy/sell more efficiently then others as they need to eventually level to match you.
Found it’s really good on Heistbaron Togwaggle, as the extra minion is worth it to stabilize, but it still has the caveat that you need an Econ minion to do the curve
something I have been thinking about lately is "when is a good moment to greed?". is it when you are healthy, when other people seem to go for powerleveling, or does it depend on your quests ? its a rough concept to get an actual grip on. would people have some general tips for that ?
be good for every tip you gave some real game examples.I know this will take longer to edit and produce the video but be really more useful when pairing up with the tip to help explain what does it mean by playing greed or playing safe.

For me at 7.4k mmr it just feels like I can't play anything but elementals or murlocs to win if they are in your game. Games without those 2 are more fun. I hate playing the frogger beast build as much as I hate playing against it, so I never do that unless I absolutely have to. Mechs are kind of boring too imo. My favorite tribes are Elementals & Demons
I think I play well and if I'd have more time and willingness to play I'd be higher rank (currently at 6.5k), so I watched your video to see if I'm on the right way or to maybe learn something new and I could totally agree! Nice vid, good luck :)
I recently went from 7k to 8.5 k and i think one thing that helped me was to stop doing several things at the same time, and just concentrating on the game. Podcasts are fine, but your attention is divided.
Good points, but not beginner friendly. I'm still trying to figure out how to scale, and what endgame comps are better than others. The whole point of early/mid/late then becomes moot. Same for the tempo or greed. Dude I'm trying to buy any minions that won't get me killed.
Do you have any tips for what to do when you're given terrible hero choices? My strategy is to auto concede. It saves me time and thus mmr in the long run. Heros are poorly balanced which makes the free to play experience real shitty (only 2 hero choices compared to 4)

can you define ranks? like what mmr (approx), like what is top 50,20,1 percent?
Top 1% is 3500 mmr. Top .005% is 3700 mmr.
Top .00000008% is 15000 mmr
