- In this Bali vlog myself and friends from Canggu travel to Indonesia’s paradise island called Sumbawa.
West Sumbawa is home to some incredible surfing spots, along with a secret surf resort that is by far one of my favourite places to visit when looking for things to do in Bali.
Indonesia is home to 17,000+ islands, making it an incredible place to travel. Whether you are a digital nomad, or a surf fanatic, if you are moving to Bali in 2022, or travelling to Bali, then this video is a perfect travel guide for a great adventure.

This Bali vlog was extremely fun to create. Travelling from Bali to Sumbawa is not easy. It’s long, fill of traffic, requires two ferries, and is a little stressful. However with the right planning , and information the journey becomes and adventure.
In total from Canggu to Whales and Waves Resort will take you anywhere around 11-15 hours depending on your timing of boats, and traffic.
There are options of flying directly to West Sumbawa, however for ease of movement when we were on Sumbawa island we wanted to have our scooters with us so that we could go explore other parts of the island such as Lakey peak, Super suck , and hidden waterfalls.
Once arriving at the surf resort you will feel completely relaxed and in paradise!
There are so many activities to do here that your time will be filled with adventures.
Whether you are coming on holiday to get the best waves of your life, or you are wanting to snorkel in crystal clear waters, they have it all on offer.
The accommodation at Whales and Waves is extremely comfortable. You have AC rooms, with hot water showers along with great wifi. Everything you need to be relaxed. You also do not need to leave the resort at all, as they have a fully equipped restaurant offering healthy organic food from delicious smoothie bowls, to fresh caught fish of the day.
Sumbawa in 2022 has not changed that much, except for the fact that the island is growing at a rapid rate. This will be a future hot spot when visiting Bali.
Life in Bali is everything you can dream of. With exquisite resorts such as Whales and Waves, and majority of businesses applying great sustainable and eco-conscious management, you can expect an environment that is above your wildest dreams.

Oh wow.. I suggest you go to #roteisland, because it's one of the best surf spots in the world. It's More beautiful than Sumbawa. Located in southern timor island. Indonesia..
