Galaxy Pay Television - 1995 Australian Video Kiosk Segment

Six minutes of promotional spiel about the Galaxy microwave and satellite pay TV network. Featuring an overview of every channel on the system at the time.

I remember having Galaxy as a kid. Back then pay TV was worth it. Now it’s just the over-priced Foxtel with the same ads over and over again and sometimes the occasional show in between ad breaks.

I had Galaxy, they put an antenna on our roof that’s still there today! It was a clear stereo picture too. It only started off with about 8 channels but then more got added, then they went bust, and stupid Foxtel took ownership and claimed most of the channels as their own!
