Thanks for letting me know, Tina! I think so too. It's such an easy spread to lay and to interpret. I tried it one day and have used it every day since!
Regarding the houses, this analogy worked well for me when I was trying to understand the workings of the houses. I see each house as a room so when i push the door and I enter the room I will feel the influence of this house. As an example if I enter the room where the bear is I may be in some danger or maybe I will be protected. It depends on how I'm entering the room, as a club or as a heart. Bear is a club card and as such belongs to the "difficult or challenging" cards of lenormand. People out there may try this analogy if the novel one doesn't work for them.
Thanks for sharing! That's a great analogy and will be very helpful to those who take the playing card insets into account and have a grasp on the positive or negative aspects of each. To expand on your thinking, most of the Lenormand club cards are considered negative with the exception of the Ring. The Bear, while traditionally considered a positive card of prosperity and power, was included in the club category because of the element of envy and power struggles that come along with prosperity.
Thank you Lisa! I am new to Le petit lenormand and thanks to your videos learning is more interesting and not discouraging 🤣 I can t wait to receive your book which will be available in France on 13th July with Amazon !
Love this method. Thank you for the video ^^ very easy to understand. Would like to see more examples for this spread. In particular when one of the cards being coffin. (Because I have always seen it as a big/serious card that makes my spreads look worrying)
Will do! Don't fear the Coffin - it's just information. It's really what comes after it that tells you if you're heading in a good direction or not. Life is a constant cycle of ups and downs and the greatest new beginnings come after painful endings!
Thanks for this vídeo. I've never thought about using the houses out of the GT. When do you use this method of reading a 3-card expression? Thanks again.
Lisa this was great and very well explained. I got a lot from this lesson. One request if I may - could you say at the outset what the cards are as on a smart phone the pictures are hard to decipher if we’re not familiar with the deck. Keep these coming they are fab videos.
Thank you, Jacqueline! And, yes, I will make a point of naming the decks at the beginning of the videos (or the end if I forget!). Thanks for watching!
Lisa , once again a great lesson! Question: how did you come up with the house cards ? You shuffled and pulled 6 cards; first 3 were houses ? Thank you ☺️ Stephanie
Thank you, Stephanie! I always focus as I shuffle the cards - I'm telling the cards what my intention is and I'm telling them what information I seek. I also tell them how may cards I'm going to draw and as I draw each one, I'm stating where it will go. So, when I'm drawing cards to act as houses, I'm stating that clearly as I draw them. Because I draw random cards by feel rather than taking them all from the top of the deck, it works perfectly!
Thank you. Your videos help clarify the reading of the cards
You are so welcome😊
Great video thanks Lisa 😀xx
I loved the video.
Laid this apread this morning after watching this video and really enjoyed it, it has a nice flow

You’re a hoot, Lisa! Really enjoying your videos. Thank you. Your book is the bomb.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! To me, card reading is 25% knowledge and 75% Mojo!!!!
Thank you! Can you do more videos on the box spread with houses please?
Yes, ma'am!
Thank you. I really appreciate it. Grateful for the wonderful videos you put up ❤️

Hi loved your explanation and have just ordered your book. I just wanted to know how did you deal the cards?
Thank you, Primrose! Watch the video I just posted, I demo how I chose and laid the cards at around 8:20 : ua-cam.com/video/hIomH8UbSBQ/v-deo.html
What is the beautiful deck in this video?
That's the Anna K Lenormand. I think the box is pictured in the cover photo (the image you see when you find the video). It is beautiful!
Thanks for this vídeo. I've never thought about using the houses out of the GT. When do you use this method of reading a 3-card expression? Thanks again.
Lately, it's become my standard small spread! Whenever I feel I don't need a tableau. The more I use it, the more I love it.

Thanks Lisa. Am I understanding this right. Do you see the 1st House and last visitor as a summary of the reading?
I do! Set your intention and practice it that way consistently and it will take on a life of its own.
