Nice catch! I’ve actually been inside one of these. About 7 years ago, my dad and I were driving over the NS crossing at Haggerty Street in Girard and the rail grinder was sitting in the siding. My dad and I stopped to take pictures and a guy let us get into the caboose of the railgriner. (Which is the opposite end to the locomotive where they can also control the train if it’s going the opposite direction. )
Corner Field Hobby Railfan yes, it was getting dark when he left the siding, it was about 6:30 7 ish, sunday evening, took him a few hours to get to willouby, thats when we had to quit because we had work the next day, he eventually went to cleveland terminal, then onto the shortline, and tied it back down early hours of the morning in wellington.
Painesville Railfans That's quite something to watch. Acctually your video comes in 2nd place for the best recorded outside of a gentlemen that had a Loram video I remember seeing a few years back that really showed it well at night. But your video for this year is the best!!!

Dragon on the rails with fire. Some of the other trains were fling on the rails.
CSX Is the best
Jakob Robledo i too like csx!
Why did the sirens go off on the grinder?
Leonardo Viramontes I believe the sirens are to alert the crew on the grinder (who is walking all over the place) that a train is about to fly by.
Painesville Railfans oh i see
You got him at Deekers. Great catch. What time did he go through Mentor and what day was this? Also CSX sure fly's at night.
