I change the overgrip when it looks dirty or loses tackiness. I also grip it starting with the square side. It leaves a nice neat taper with a sticky side at the end.
Changed when it is no longer tacky. I also prefer the wide part at the base. I remove the tape as I wrap the top to keep it from touching other part of the tape ❤
Usually using my racquets 6hours minimum per day so changing grips 1-2 per 2 days but when I play tournaments I change all the over grips after the match
Change grips every time I play! Also do the same on my pro staff with the square side on the bottom with 2 wraps. Only criticism is the tape to finish the top, it always comes undone and I have to pull it and stretch to make it stick. Love your videos!
I’m a court pro at a club doing 8-10 hours on court some days and I have sweaty hands , I change my grips every two days or so , especially if I’m hitting with lessons sometimes I’ll change even more frequent
Me duran una eternidad, los cambio porque se ven sucios, nunca los desgasto. No le doy vueltas a la raqueta en mi mano y me seco el sudor de la mano constantemente
I like the little car honk, must be someone who approved of your over grip style. I change it once there is evidence of wear because I use tape on thumb and index finger.
can't understand. You're not replacing anything. What is wrong with what looks like a brand new leather grip on a brand new Pro-Staff . So you're adding thickness.
I play 1-2 hrs per day. I felt it lost grip within a week. but as a amateur player, I usually change it when it looks visually dirty.
I also have this issue
@@jayhawkjack6693 its just what happens. I sweat a lot so i have to replace it every 3 days
I use black overgrips so it won’t look as dirty for longer lol
not an issue. pros replace their grip once or twice every match.

@@chaliboy-wf7ol😭😭😭😭
Once in 3-4 weeks. Play 1-2 hrs a day
I took off the syn grip and replaced it with leather. Then pending on the conditions I use Tourna grip or the Wilson Pro grip. Thanks for sharing !
During summer I could do it every time play but I usually do it every 2 oder 3 weeks. In winter season probably once at all
Usually using my racquets 6hours minimum per day so changing grips 1-2 per 2 days but when I play tournaments I change all the over grips after the match
I’m playing 3-5 hours a day and tournaments twice a week. I change it every week or every tournament
Which racket do you buy?
@@lucasole11 head radical
@@LS3BRZ wow nice! What do you think of the Babolat drive?(It's my racket)
In summer I change my overgrip every 4-6 sets and winter every 6-9 sets
I’m on the court 8-9 hours daily, gripping so hard I need a fresh one every night. Midnight is when the magic happens.
I worry about messing it up as I still haven't learned how to determine where to roll the grip on itself as I work towards the top.
Wilson Blade V9 or Pro Staff 97UL?
During peak summer I’m changing every 2-3 sessions
I change it every five months or so. But it depends on which colour it is
What grip is your racket ?
I love white grips but they turn grey and dirty so quick
Can you make a vid of you taking the original grip off?

I bought this same racket today !
I play 4-7 hours a day and I do that every second time because I have hyperhydrosis I sweat a lot
I change mine at least every 6 months I play two times a week 4 hours
I noticed you wrapped it for a right handed player. As a left hander, have you tried gripping it for a left handed player?
There is no such thing as left or right, surely.
@@shaunacole1 You're absurd.

I have never changed mine ever since I bought it (5 years ago)
True Chad move
When it loses its tack. Based on feel, every 6 hours on average

2-3 months
I play 4-6 hours a day so like every 7 days
Use mega tac, better than wilson yonex head etc. Very tacky and stays that way after hours of hitting

Sometimes 2 times a day,sometimes 2 times a month
But the color is ugly compared to the original brown. Don't they have brown overgrops?
Every week
Once every year I don't play regularly
I play one to two hours a year so I prefer not to change my grips
I play seven hours a week and change it once a month
2 years. Playing at least an hour a school day.
tourna grip so every 2 minitues
😂
I don’t take off the plastic seal ;)
Once a month
1-2 weeks playing 6-8 hours a week
5 days

Every time I see this guy I feel like watching "Crazy Rich Asians".

Bro if it’s brand new then you can use the leather grip,🤕
until the tap dirty😂

I personally like the tacky feel from an overgrip
Lol it ain’t “regripping”, just putting and overgrip 💁♂️
I don’t play tennis
Thick side at base and change to thin side after 5 months, play for another 5!😅
Oh cmon
NEVER
Wow! So worthy of a post. How many takes were involved? 🤮
Wow! What an informative comment.
