Your bus is so cool my six-year-old son and I live on a 40-foot MCI bus it's a lot larger than yours but we absolutely love it we've got a few years and now and have been all over the place having so much fun....... We too are people of color and we don't worry about fitting in anywhere we just do our thing and have a great time we really like what you've done to your bus you done a great job really good job.
I've been watching a number of these van/bus life videos now and while I can appreciate the stealth and pro built vehicles, they just don't have the charm that these have. For this one, I like the raw lumber used out of utility and the rope trim and peel and stick. I'm a middle-aged man with a wife and kids so this isn't in my future, but it's so cool that people are out there living their best life like this.
This girl is very smart about safety, I got to hand it to her, she has an alarm in her rig, most importantly she uses common sense, and gut instinct, that is so important, some people don't use common sense or use their gut instinct. She rocks, I wish her well, and God bless her. Go Deanna.
If she was really smart about safety she would have put on a T-shirt before the camera turned on. I am really amazed at women that get into this life and when a camera points at them they take off everything except what their bra would cover (and that is a pretty darned skimpy bra). I'm not trying to be mean, but 1) I'm a straight female and I don't want to look at that much female skin for 10+ minutes. I mean, she's probably looking for a man, but not everybody that aspires to do vanlife is male, and not everybody is comfortable watching that much skin. 2) She's a really pretty female traveling alone and she made that clear more than once. I'm sure she's probably looking for a guy and the best way to find a man is to dress scantily on UA-cam, but what is going to happen if creepers start targeting women in short busses? Maybe I would feel differently if I knew she had a guy traveling with her, but I am scared spitless for this girl. You never know who might be lurking around at a truck stop or what could happen if she was entrapped by one of them. Women are abducted every day and horrible things happen to them That does not need to happen in the vanlife community and our women need to be protected. I'm hoping that as a content creator that you make at least one rule, and that would be that females must wear a t-shirt on their bus tours, and longer shorts would be a plus. I watch a lot of short bus and shuttle bus videos, and almost every day i see a woman traveling alone and dressed like this and I am scared to death for them, and for myself, also, because one day I would like to do my own short bus. Human trafficking is at an all time high in the US right now and it is very concerning. I appreciate your understanding and concern in this matter and I hope you will do the right thing going forward.
Nice girl, good bus and design. Seems she did a lot of time and effort into planning. My only thought is how does a girl live without a toilet…? I’m scratching head on that one ….😂😂😂
Very pretty bus. If I was building a bus after having a good bed a place to use the bathroom would be on top of the list. When my husband and I got tired of tent camping and started looking for something else, I told him I didn't care what he got but it had to have a bathroom.
Even for temporary, the ol Lugable Loo toilet seats that snap on a 5 gal. bucket (《$10 @ Academy) work quite well. I have 2 in mine. One for #2 that uses 8 gal trash liners (use 3 each time) and kitty litter w/ odor control - just shake a couple cups on each time and bury it ! I use a heavy contractor bag upside down as a slip over barrier and theses zero smell. Change it every 5 days or as needed. On the urination side , because wet kitty litter is HEAVY , I went the bulkhead fitting in the bucket to q simple P trap in 3/4" pvc and it is ran to simple plastic holding tank underneath qvail at any RV supply place because it has the slide valve that a big dump hose connects to for proper disposal. Toilet is mounted at the slightest angle with the exhaust fitting at the lowest point and simply rinse about a quart of water behind it to keep it fresh. If your in the wilderness just leave the slide open and 20 ft of hose can easily be scattered about as to not run into the same area repeatedly. The #2 can be easily moved out of the way and the urinal one can be set up with flexible line to be also tucked out of the way into a predetermined or purpose built area. I'm a TN hillbilly so you guys already know I've got an 8000 btu window unit AC hanging out of mine ! I also have a 24x24 shower with a BOSCH hot water on demand , a queen size bed, full size couch/folding daybed, , both purpose built for the super heavy storage bins like at at qn autopsrts supply house ...and milk crates under the couch 9 feet of counter space , fridge, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer and about every type outdoor cook piece ever made from electric, gas, wood and such. 32" flat-screen and even a granite sammich prep slab. I lucked up on a 2 drawer DEEP medical filing cabinet that I built a removable table top for the upper drawer that pulls out and locks the table top in. Comfortably sits 3. Lots of shelving and drawer space, a central vac and onboard air compressor in a narrow closet for tall things ...like guitars , shotguns ...and brooms. Lol. I love mine. This lady's is a little brighter but I went stained oak and maroon /beige and even use an oriental runner down the middle - also matching. I'm working on a TINY wood burner too. Even the smallest one sold would run you out. Thinking about an exterior with heat exchanger ...that would double as a cook top for a pot of beans and camp oven for the pon' of bread.
very nice design bright and clean... restroom is very important especially if you are a female ladies you know what I'm talking about...yeah that, then middle of the night you have to go what then ???
Wow, she did an amazing job building her tiny home on wheels!! Absolutely love how she set up her kitchen space and appliances...love the stove/oven and refrigerator!!! Also, I really love the white tongue and groove ceiling and white cabinets. Makes it lighter and more cheery than dark wood. Her decor is so pretty too. Love her bus!
@Terri, Architect here with the livability designer looking over my shoulder. White in flat/matte can be quieting; to an extreme, it can be as cold as a hospital corridor. Dark colors with a gloss finish can be a mood enhancer. And then, the balance of texture and fabrics and depth/height relationships and the appropriate use of the 'vanishing point'. . A lot goes into making a space comfortable. I think we can all agree, today's video represents one potential?
What a great design build of her bus & absolutely love it but more importantly I’m so happy to see more POC ( people of color) out enjoying the nomadic lifestyle! 🔥🔥👍🏿
I celebrate all my white brothers and sisters that dont give a hoot, we do not care stop bringing up that yourselves thinking you're special just cause you were born with a darker complexion
Really beautiful home you have created! No bathroom?? I'm not sure how you handle that aspect ~ I guess you don't drink much water or eat much food, but still..........have fun and enjoy your adventure!!! Sending you light, love, peace, joy and abundance! I love you.
Nice set up! She definitely needs Starlink and an emergency toilet. Diggin' on her energy and I am excited for her journey! Peace and blessings, Y'all...
"She definitely needs a toilet?" Really? She said she didn't. Just because you need something, doesn't mean she does. Her home is Perfect for her and that's all that matters.
@@latonyalee7821 You have never had an accident? This is not something she is using on weekends. She is living in it full time. It is her rig and she can live how she wants, that's certainly true. But, we have all had a shitty day, literally and figuratively, so having a means of preventing an accident is not a bad investment. Just my two cents.
@@lemaitrethemonk Not sure what my not haven't an accident has to do with this, but I have not had an accident and I will definitely have a toilet in mine. Let's let people live as they like and not push our wants on them. That's my two cents. Have a great day!
I’m always amazed by females who can live on the road without a toilet. Some don’t even have a shower…. 😵💫 having a toilet and shower would definitely be a must for me. Can’t imagine those 1 am bathroom calls without one…
@@thesun-N-moon8885 If you are living full time. That also means you are sleeping in parking lots and other paved parking lots from time to time. Maybe if the majority of the time were spent in the woods where a shovel and a roll of toilet paper was not an issue, sure that would be fine. But, for the most of us. I kind of want to do this. As a nurse i know i can do travel nursing, so living in a van/bus/rv or something like that has always been a small dream of mine
Gorgeous build, awesome video. Sub of A Bus Life Story, love his bus tours. Soooo wonderful that you are doing this adventure at your young age. 2 yrs. ago at age 65 I finally took the jump & bought myself a little class c motorhome with a lifetime dream of exactly what you are doing. I had a simple but devastating mechanical issue, belt broke engine stopped while in middle of a busy road. Since it has been parked due to fear and anxiety of taking it out alone. Thank God you are living your best life and encourage anyone that has same desire at young age to just do it. Pray God's safety and many blessings for your journey! Amen.
