Excellent video. Your composition, camera work and editing are superb. You capture the essence of the steam locomotion in all its glory. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing video by far! I love stream trains. I am sure everyone watching this video does to, I am not sure if it is you recording all of these or not but, I still congratulate your effort and pride in this.
Extraordinarily beautiful, really compliments, thanks for the valuable sharing !!! Straordinariamente bello, complimenti veramente, grazie per la preziosa condivisione !
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought I was looking at one of those superb gauge 1 model schools which I covet...... (that I covet??) Anyway, the schools though obviously prone to slipping, in the right hands is not only the "little engine that could" but "the little engine that can!" Great video, thanks.
Glad to see a bit of footage from Brookwood in there, my nearest station and one I've filmed from several times! If you think you'll go back there at some point give me a bell :) Louis
Fantastic! 25:23 is a postcard but all of it is done so you feel right there. I live in Virginia, USA. I model in O scale, 1.25 in gauge. Is it possible to get models for the cars on the train at 25:23 or plans for the cars? Thanks so much.
I was there at the Great Gathering. However I didn't even know me and my Mother just went there on that exact day. Then when we went again quite recentyl we were told that was a 1 in chance time that'd happen. We also saw the Flying Scotsman that time. Thank you for sharing that amazing 1 time rare event.
can you tell me why some trains have a diesel on the back, or indeed immediately behind the loco .....is it for banking purposes ....... just and ignorant enjoyer of steam trains here
---> From what I understand I think that's put a diesel locomotive to make the system more efficient braking ---> Da quello che ho capito mi sembra che viene messa una locomotiva diesel per rendere più efficiente il sistema di frenatura
+Samuel Zelter Out here in the US, most steam locomotives have to use a diesel for dynamic braking and to provide HEP power to the passenger cars. Thats pretty much the rule...
A steam locomotive is just special. Thanks for your much appreciate effort.
Greetings from sunny South Africa.

Hello Britains, very beautiful trains, really. Greetings from Germany. Karl
Your audio pickup is excellent. Are you using an inbuilt, directional, or a stand alone microphone?
why they don't stop at these stations

At 1840, this one seems to be struggling a bit!

It seems the English have gotten it into their heads that they need diesel locomotives behind their steam locomotives too.
---> From what I understand I think that's put a diesel locomotive to make the system more efficient braking
---> Da quello che ho capito mi sembra che viene messa una locomotiva diesel per rendere più efficiente il sistema di frenatura
Add another steam locomotive? Not book so many passengers on one train knowing the grades it needs to climb?

한국에서도 칙칙폭폭 이런소리 언제쯤 들을수있을까?
Are you saying there are no steam engines in Korea
