Perhaps a layer of polyurethane would seal in the stars & give the whole thing a shine.
Likely would stain the decals.
Clear fingernail polish would do the trick on the stars, much like you'd do to seal a decal on a baseball helmet.

@@lucky43113 It's a game we used to play at school in England. It's basically Baseball with a smaller bat.
Back when I went to school it used to irritate some Americans that we'd deliberately call Baseball "Rounders".
Typically of us English, that just made us say it even more.
We could use it for an emergency

Would've been better if you had painted the blue section white, then put the stars on as a masking, and then painted blue, then peel off the stars and you have it all painted, rather than the stars peeling off over time.

hey kipkay! I'm trying to make the bell on my Western Electric Model 500 ring. Want to give it a shot? No speakers or mp3s. The actual bell. I am hoping to make it battery powered. Maybe swapping the 24v soliniod for a 12v one. I have no idea what I'm doing!! If I figure it out I will post the video. I think it will be quite challenging!
