Anyone planning to attend the World Cup in Russia? If you're going to Sochi, you will be able to enjoy this beach! 😍😍 And here are all my vlogs in Russia: ua-cam.com/video/YjdkO9rJChw/v-deo.html&list=PLUt18OGs5Ho7Ec97g8IA60zoiiiQOcOQB
Thanks for sharing. I was there for the Workd Cup. The Olympic Park is about 30-40 by taxi from downtown, but the area it's so nice and relaxing. The beach, the Black Sea is unique and the water is soo refreshing. Once in the you don't want to get out. The place is so full of energy. Don't miss it. Just amazing!
Esquinita de Lupe Ohhhhh! How nice!!! I was working in Moscow the whole time during the World Cup, it was also amazing! Heard so many great stories about all host cities that I wish I could visit them all 😍😍
Dear Renata I am going to Russia for the FIFA Worldcup 2018 but sadly i won't be able to come to Sochi this time, it breaks my heart however I will be visiting Moscow, St Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod and Let me tell you, your vlogs from Moscow and St Petersburg have astonished me and made me travel to this beautiful country. Thank you very much for that. Keep sharing your experiences with us and do guide me if there is something else i can do in Russia in this trip
That's so amazing to hear, Jahanzeb! Thank you so much! Yes, Russia is really big and it is difficult to travel to all host cities of the World Cup, but being in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod is already amazing! As you're going for the World Cup, if you go to any stadium, make sure you get your Fan ID in advance. It's a requirement to present it together with a ticket and last year at the Confederations Cup there was a huge queue for foreigners to get this, and many people missed the first half of the matches they were attending. Other than that, I'm sure the World Cup will be an amazing time to be in Russia!!! Enjoy!!!
Moreover! There are more and more discounts and bonuses for the owners of FanID! Take your opportunity while walking around the city, visiting cafes and many other places of entertainment ;)
I have tickets for both the round of 16 and quarterfinal matches that will be taking place in Sochi. I will be spending one week in Sochi and after both matches I will go to Moscow for my second week. I'm not sure if this World Cup will be as good as the one in Brazil but I always wanted to visit Russia and I'm looking forward to what it has to offer.
I didn't know Sochi is that big in area.A very nice video about the place. The Caucasus mountains view is spectacular. Although the video is a little brief because you 're on a business trip , it's great nonetheless. Thanks, Renata.
My pleasure! 😊 Yes... at first I thought I wouldn't even be able to film anything... But I mentioned in the comment section of one of the Moscow videos that I was going to Sochi but wouldn't film, and people gave me the idea of just doing something short, so I run with it 😉. Sochi was a very surprising place! I really liked it. Cheers!
Great video! As for the beach, in the summer the stones are heated, which gives you the opportunity to lie down on them to warm your body and joints. This is a natural procedure, for what you pay money in Spa centers, here you do it absolutely free)
The rocks are much better then send. When it is hot, rocks also hot. If you have troubles with your back, just lay down and fix it. And rocks does not stick to your body. By the way. The form of rocks are also amazing. They all rounded with no coroners. and some of them are really beautiful.
Dear Renata, unfortunately you haven't been in Sochi. Adler is just one of the city's district. It's 35-45 minutes driving distance from the city historical, cultural and administrative center. And yes, it is the longest city not only in Russia but in the whole continent. My favorite part of the the city is mountain district Krasnaya Polyana and Rosa Khutor (just 20-25 min). One of the most spectacular views of nature! Definitely have to see!!)) Don't forget to visit during you next stay.
Yes, I heard about Krasnaya Polyana and Rosa Khutor and was so curious! In fact, all the souvenir at the airport was about those places. And I saw so many people arriving with snowboarding and skiing gear! Must be really nice! Yes, I wish I had the time to properly see the entire area, but when you are working on different projects, it's complicated. Anyways I'm very happy I had the chance to fly to Sochi, it's nice! 😍😍 I saw a little bit more, but with co-workers, so I couldn't vlog...
Beach and mountain tops with snow in 1 shot.. Who else has that ? I've read that the entire Krasnodar Region is very beautiful, with a nice climate. Awesome.

Oh finally...Renata in Sochi..yes it s better in summer,i see it was pretty cold during yr stay...But Sochi is really warm compared to any other place in Russia, even Crimea. It s subtropical n the weather is like Rome, but more humid.I m glad to hear U re planning to visit Kazan after Fifa! Smart choice! Are U not planning to visit Nizhniy Novgorod n Kaliningrad? They are both very picturesque!
Nizhniy Novgorod most likely, as it's closer to Moscow and I'll be working there the whole time. But Kaliningrad is too far... 😥 So hopefully one day... Sochi was not that cold actually, just windy... It was around 11°. Nothing compared to Moscow, as it was -15° when I landed! haha!

Would appreciate some help. Would love to see Sochi, Krimskiy Most and Mother Russia Monument in Volgograd. With love from Canada.
Hi Paul! Thank you so much! If you've already been to a country where most people don't speak English or even if you haven't you are willing to get out of your comfort zone and try, then I'd say yes, you can go on your own. Learning the Cyrillic alphabet helps a lot and it's not difficult. To get a visa, they require you to have an invitation letter from your host, but it's easy to get this with the hotel you're staying or Airbnb host, as Russians know it's a requirement for most foreigners. A few hotels offer it for free, but most will charge $10-30 dollars. The good thing is that you get it almost immediately after you request and pay. Now, the online application form varies by nationality. For me, as a Brazilian, it was really easy. Brazilians don't need a visa for tourism, only for business. I applied 3 times already and got business visas the next day when I did it in person or in 2 weeks when I did via mail. For my husband, as an American, the application form was way longer and it took one week for the tourist visa to be ready. The most important thing is to make sure you have your full name on all documents and that the invitation letter has the full names of everyone traveling with you. My husband only had his first and last name, and we needed to get a new letter. Still, they were nice to wait for us to go out of the consulate, gave us an email to send the document, so that we wouldn't need to find somewhere to print, and we could finish the application in the same day. And by the way, I'd love to see that huge monument in Volgograd too!
Thanks! I want more too! hahaha! At first I thought I wouldn't even be able to film anything... But I mentioned in the comment section of one of the Moscow videos that I was going to Sochi but wouldn't film, and people gave me the idea of just doing something short, so I run with it 😉. Sochi seems to be a very nice city, I'd love to be back
Hi, I live in Sochi and it is really beautiful and clear city, but in fact, it's not so large city. The biggest half of city take mountains and beaches, but center of Sochi much smaller. But, thank you a lot for so good review 👌🏼😉
Hello rocket design. Thank you I appreciate. I was there for so little time and not in summer that I would love to return. One day. Thanks for watching😀🙏
Socji Olympic site is cool. modern but tranquil. locals are totally chilled, they treat you the way you loose tension and rest inside out. but main Sochi is like Monaco now, too much shopping and too many people.
Thank you, Mikhail! Having relatives there makes it even easier to enjoy! I'd love to return to Saint Petersburg one day. It's certainly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
You bet! I saw poeple at the airport arriving with skis and snowboards... I'm just not sure if it was high season for the mountains either, as it was not a holiday or school vacation month...
So in your opinion, where would be the perfect location to stay for 10 days. I have to be able to go to the mountains to enjoy all the fun there is there. But other than that, I'd like to go to the amusement park as welll.
Unbelievable. I was in Sochi in 1992 and it looked nothing like your video. So many changes. Now I want to go back. Is the Circus still there-it seemed to be the largest building at the time.
Yes... The new Russian friends I met in Sochi told me great things about Krasnaya Polyana and Rosa Khutor...I wish I had the time to properly see the entire area, but when you are working on different projects, it's complicated. Still, I'm so happy that at least I had the chance to be in Sochi a little bit, it's really nice! 😍😍
When you will visit Russia next time, please visit Kazan and Grozny. It's super cities in Russia also. I have never been there before personaly, but it's perfect cities. I am living in Saint-P currently, but I was born at far east of Russia - Khabarovsky Krai near the China border. And of course you should visit Kiev in Ukrain and Minsk in Belorussia - this is the best cities from former Soviet Union.
shik Guess what!?? I’m in Kazan! Absolutely loving it and creating some videos here 😍 I don’t know much about Grozny or your city of origin, or even Minsk and Kiev. Will do some research! Thanks for the idea!
Good video. I never considered Sochi. One think I would change about the video is to keep the measurements consistent. You switch between English and metric units. How easy is it to get a visa to Russia?
Hi Kevin, yes, my bad... I only noticed in the editing, that's why I added the graphics to help people understand... Thanks for pointing that out, it's a good reminder for the future. About the visa, they require you to have an invitation letter from your host, but it's easy to get this with the hotel you're staying or Airbnb host, as Russians know it's a requirement for most foreigners. A few hotels offer it for free, but most will charge $10-30 dollars. The good thing is that you get it almost immediately after you request and pay. Some wrong info in video. You was in Imeretinskaya lowland, not in Adler. Adler ends with Mzymta river. The stadium you showed is not football stadium but a hockey one. Highest mountain is not 2000 m but several hundreds higher.
Great video, in June I m planning to go to Rosa Khutor an sochi with wife and my two children, how many nights should I spend on those two locations? and do i need a rental car inside sochi?
Strange, it looks quite cold outside. But as i remember we had a very warm weather this spring. I even can say it was hot:-) When did you film this video?
olga d The weather was actually great, I shot it in late February, it was about 11-14° while in Moscow it was -14°. Only the wind made it cold, otherwise it would have been a perfect winter day 😉
I am going with my friends to the world cup their, want the most exciting places for young people + a fan fests fields to watch the games in big screens, please advise!
The vast majority of people don't speak English in Russia (the only place I found more locals speaking English was Saint Petersburg). Outside the hotel and apart from my Russian friends there, I probably met only 1-2 poeple who spoke English. Download Google Translate and the Russian dictionary, when you point your phone camera to the words it automatically translates them. It's a big help
if i am not mistaken then sochi is the most visited place of russia ... do compare it with moscow and st petersburg !!! i have noticed that capital cities of a country is not the no1 tourist area of the most visited city!!!
Hi dear, By Profession I am a Doctor, but tourism is my passion just like you. I must appreciate your interest and devotion for the promotion of tourism at the same time you are exploring the NATURE. (How world is beautiful rather nature is beautiful) and I for all invite you to come and see that particular place where 3 Highest mountain ranges of the world merge with each other, here in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. You'd love it here for sure. Keep exploring and keep traveling.
Rocco Siffredi Yes, I know... I was working really hard during the World Cup and didn’t have time to create videos. But I had the most amazing time of my life. I wasn’t able to capture much of the streets, but I’ll edit as soon as I’m back home. Now I’m enjoying Russia as a tourist again ❤️
Hello Renata. I am surprised that you have so few subscribers. You have a very good channel. Highly. You need to check, maybe your video is not in the recommended section of UA-cam. One Russian travelers channel visited almost 50 countries and was very good but had only 40,000 subscribers. Only 4 years later it turned out that UA-cam does not recommend it. You check.
Hi Hali! Thank you so much! Actually I only started doing regular videos about 1 year ago, before I only uploaded whenever I had the time... And this year my channel grew from 3k to close to 20k 😮😮😮, so I’m soooooo happy!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Hopefully it will continue to grow 😉
Hi Renata!, I will go to Sochi in The last days of August. I want a beatiful and romantic Hotel with beach and pool. Near of beatiful places. Would you recommend me anyone?
Hi Joel, I stayed at the Radisson Blu Congress, which was very nice and had a great pool. It was oceanfront, but not in the part where people go to the beach, just a short walk away (exactly the walk I did in the video). There were other hotels nearby, which also seemed very good. But this was in Adler, in this location where I shot. The city center is 45 minutes away, so it's important for you to decide what's the main area you want to visit in Sochi.

Hello from Sochi
Hello and welcome to the channel👍😃
Timely vlogging in sochi, nice videography, thanks for superb video.
Thanks to you! Glad you like it!
¡De nada! ¡Que bueno que te ha gustado! Yes, working in Russia
Wonderful place!
It really is. I wish to visit during summer
Sochi is a summer city ty for the tour
interesting but I want more
Been there in January 2017 it was love😍
Andjela Stankovic 🤗🤗🤗
Socji Olympic site is cool. modern but tranquil. locals are totally chilled, they treat you the way you loose tension and rest inside out. but main Sochi is like Monaco now, too much shopping and too many people.
Anette Mor I reaaaaaaally need to go back to Sochi!!!! ❤️
You know Sochi, Krasnodar krai is Similar or Beatable to United States Miami, Florida.
I do not understand why someone puts dislikes
❤️🤗 Thank you! ❤️🤗
Dam like this one it awesome
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it! 😉😊😉😊
Great video! I have relatives in Sochi live :) come to St. Petersburg, welcome :)
Thank you, Mikhail! Having relatives there makes it even easier to enjoy! I'd love to return to Saint Petersburg one day. It's certainly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
Low season. All tourists are in the mountains(ski resort).
You bet! I saw poeple at the airport arriving with skis and snowboards... I'm just not sure if it was high season for the mountains either, as it was not a holiday or school vacation month...
Cool video editing. I like it
Thank you so much! 😊😊😊😊😊
Lots of love from nepal.
Ujjwal gurung Thank you very much! 🤗🤗
Is the Circus still there-it seemed to be the largest building at the time.
hi renata . i am a regular follower of your channel . i am planning to go to russia this december for 10 days . so do guide.
2:07 Its no stadium, its Ice temple- Big.
June 15 in Sochi *Portugal vs Spain* 😊
Renata, you did not visit the most beautiful place in Sochi. It's called Krasnaya Polyana
That's one of the matches I'm really looking for in the World Cup! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Todaaaaaaay
Been there beautiful.
Rona Rona It is... 😍😍 Cheers!
Some wrong info in video. You was in Imeretinskaya lowland, not in Adler. Adler ends with Mzymta river. The stadium you showed is not football stadium but a hockey one. Highest mountain is not 2000 m but several hundreds higher.
Great video, in June I m planning to
go to Rosa Khutor an sochi with wife and my two children,
how many nights should I spend on those two locations?
and do i need a rental car inside sochi?
👍😉russia keren. Ayo join traveling manado-indonesia
videonya sangat berkelas, banyak aku download video kamu kak,

Old Bagira
Sochi is protected by Caucasian mountains from the North winds - that makes Sochi's climate almost sub-tropical.
Thank you for sharing.
I'm going to Sochi to the World Cup. Did you have any trouble finding locals that spoke english?
The vast majority of people don't speak English in Russia (the only place I found more locals speaking English was Saint Petersburg). Outside the hotel and apart from my Russian friends there, I probably met only 1-2 poeple who spoke English. Download Google Translate and the Russian dictionary, when you point your phone camera to the words it automatically translates them. It's a big help
Renata Pereira Thank you! I'll try to cope with that. 😊
My pleasure! For the World Cup they will have signs in English, including for transportation, so everything will be much easier
if i am not mistaken then sochi is the most visited place of russia ... do compare it with moscow and st petersburg !!! i have noticed that capital cities of a country is not the no1 tourist area of the most visited city!!!
youtuber rakesh, could be true...they are all fascinating cities I would like to return to
@@RenataPereiraTV do compare with moscow and st Petersburg
Hi dear, By Profession I am a Doctor, but tourism is my passion just like you. I must appreciate your interest and devotion for the promotion of tourism at the same time you are exploring the NATURE. (How world is beautiful rather nature is beautiful) and I for all invite you to come and see that particular place where 3 Highest mountain ranges of the world merge with each other, here in Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. You'd love it here for sure. Keep exploring and keep traveling.
I'm sure it's so beautiful! I read "I Am Malala" and she constantly described the beauty of the region she lived in, it got me imagining...
Gday! I'm a half Filipino travel vlogger looking for amazing stories to tell anywhere in the world! Have you got any recommendations!?
I agree
La spiaggia è fatta tutta di sassolini? C'è della sabbia?
RUSSIAN CHEERFUL AND KIND. YOU DON'T SHOW OFF YET
Alex Lev
I'm learning English. How learn English?
I wish i was that powerful
Look for videos here on UA-cam, there are probably people teaching English here. Good luck!
You are beautiful!!! Nice job!! Don't want to come to Kazakhstan?)
Thank you very much! I'd love to travel the whole world! Hopefully one day!
