Why are you using 2 Arduinos to do this? Cant this be done with just 1 or am i missing something?

i think the hard points relates to it being either linear or exponential

Can this be done with one arduino? I am hoping to take the analogue signal from a potentiometer in one position. match it against another potentiometer and if both aren't reading the same value, rotate a stepper motor until they do. Cheers.

Hey man I want to retrofit my old vintage mixer with these faders and somehow connect them to midi so I can automate the faders and save mixes on the analogue gear. Do you think that’s possible?

just put the circuit parallel, you get a whole console... but not only that... its actually the nervous system of any robot! and also... techno actually loves these things, fader programming can be used by itself to make some interesting crap.

Is there also a slide with a spring? That you can pull back and then shoots back to the front?

the one in this video is a motorized slider, you can simulate a spring by controlling the motor.

search for "motorized fader", pretty easy to find.
