It's pronounced Sillet as in pill not Sy as in why! Nice to see you got to visit there and had organic tea from their tea gardens. There are some tribal groups in Sylhet, they are Monipuri tribe who make traditional handloom sarees and clothes, they have a factory in Adampur. Very nice friendly people.
