That's awesome. I just finished my first European mount. I hosed it off, cleaned it up with a cheap toothbrush, then sprayed a coat of polyurethane on it.
I’m not a pro by any means, but I’d say pressure wash to get the rest of the grime out and then you can boil in peroxide to whiten it up. Peroxide is a little easier on the bone than bleach. Watch White Bone Creations for more tips.
Such a cool, simple technique. I buried a deer and a pig head around the first of the year, digging them up Labor Day weekend. Can't wait!
