- At UC Berkeley, two student teachers, Sofia Lendahl and Miaad Bushala, lead a class called "Artistry and Entrepreneurship: Taylor's Version." More than a dozen top universities are offering Taylor Swift inspired courses.

Not to go Michael Hudson, but for 50 years Neoclassical Economics has collectively %&@! this country of its true potential and this insipid news segment is a shining example of it. Her lyrics are essentially a telenovela for young women; with the designed hope of manufacturing nostalgia; which is to say, the business people hope to capitalize off of her bland music 20+ years from now. It's not original idea either; just listen to Rick Beato hype crappy music from the 70s-early 90s.
I think it's a great idea. It gets young people interested in marketing in a way they can relate to. And quite honestly, she and her marketing team are doing a fabulous job. Whether you like her or not, I think there are some things that students could learn from. There are colleges that have portions of their creative writing classes dedicated to Taylor Swift's music. In addition to Shakespeare and everyone else. The woman has some wonderfully complex lyrics.
As long as tax dollars don't do towards it or your student loan debt for taking this class isn't forgiven. Take whatever class you want
