Birgit Nilsson es una gran soprano, Joan Sutherland es una grandisima soprano, pero Renata Tebaldi es la soprano que conquistó tener la voz mas perfecta, tenía igualdad en los registros, mismo color y mismo cuerpo de voz del grave al agudo y la voz no pìerde calidad ni en las smorzaturas ni en los agudos a plena voz, el timbre no se empobrece nunca y otra cosa que me fascina de ella es el vibrato , tiene un vibrato tan regular, tan igual que los agudos no tienen vibraciones irregulares, son vibrantes y redondos
Her Leonora is always a joy to listen to. Regarding the pitch issue, I'd say that in this performance, she is sometimes a tad heavy in the middle voice actually, but it's nothing egregious. This is close to as good as this aria has ever been sung.
내가 어릴적 돈을 모아서 산 첫 오페라 전집 LP 앨범이... 운명의 힘이었고... 모리나리 프라델리 지휘에 델 모나코, 레나타 테발디, 에토레 바스티아니니, 코소토 였나 시미오네타였나 모르겠다... 운명의 힘 전주곡과 델 모나코의 힘있는 목소리, 테발디의 아름다운 목소리 너무 좋았었지... 개인적으로... 레오노라에 테발디는 정말 적격인거 같다고 생각했지만... 이 동영상을 보고 더 그렇게 느꼈다... 칼라스와 비교를 해보면.. 칼라스가 세련된 외모에 훌륭한 연기력, 화려한 부분이 있다면... 테발디는... 여기 레오노라같이 컨서버티브하고 이탈리아적이고.. 수녀같기도 하고.. 물론 가슴속에 강한 열정을 가진 수녀겠지만.. 동영상을 보니 그게 더 확신이 생기는듯... 너무 훌륭한 가창에 표정과 연기였다고 생각합니다...

So che c'è stato un cantante che aveva una voce perfetta in tutta la gamma e ha suscitato molta invidia, ma non sprecate energie mentendo e non dite sciocchezze perché non cambierà il fatto che questo Pace mio Dio sia cantato in una modo sublime e perfetto. . Il vibrato della Tebaldi è così incrollabile, così perfetto che le sue note non hanno vibrazioni irregolari, tanto che se avesse voluto stonare non avrebbe potuto farlo.Il si bemolle finale dell'ultima maledizione è una nota non perfetta ma perfettissima, perfettamente centrata e ferma e piena di colore , ed enorme, motivo per cui gli acuti della Tebaldi hanno molto impatto, per via del colore e del nucleo , lo spessore e la potenza della nota. Sapete cosa sono LA natural della Callas e Sibemol della Callas? Non valgono un cazzo, la Callas non ha mai potuto cantare bene un LA, né un SIbemolle, gli acuti della Callas non sono fermi e ha un vibrato imperfetto pieno di vibrazioni irregolari e la Callas non potrebbe mai avere il colore che ha Tebaldi negli acuti, tanto meno il volume
Il povero Molinari Pradelli ha dovuto fare più di una capriola per ricondurre l'orchestra al personalissimo metronomo della Tebaldi, che in apertura dell'aria smarrisce il tempo tre o quattro volte. Senza contare l'attacco del si bemolle di "Invan la pace", periclitante assai. E' una mia opinione personale, s'intende, ma trovo questa interpretazione piatta e incolore. Ascolti la prima sillaba della "Pace" di Leontyne Price, e già ti si apre davanti l'eremo, avverti tutta la solitudine e lo sconforto di Leonora. La Tebaldi si preoccupa di mostrare la sua "voce d'angelo" senza badare troppo alla psicologia del personaggio - qui è Leonora, ma potrebbe essere benissimo Aida, Amelia o Violetta, non basta un saio a conferire personalità all'eroina.
Ma stai zitto, inutile. La Tebaldi è stata la migliore Leonora di tutte, la Tebaldi canta sempre a tempo, ha una musicalità superiore, ha una gamma dinamica infinita, è la voce di soprano più ricca di tutto il secolo scorso, la sua interpretazione è perfetta, ha una nobiltà nel fraseggio cioè di lignaggio, la voce non è solo una voce da'ngelo, è una voce che è tutta tonda dal basso al diesis, comunque, ha molto nucleo, corpo e molto colore, e la voce non perde qualità né timbro né nelle smorzature né negli acuti en fortissimo, la sua voce non si sfilaccia mai. Leontyne Price? il tuo è uno scherzo? Price ha 3 voci diverse separate l'una dall'altra, il grave senza fuoco disastro, centro vuoto, e una terza voce nell acuto: Price acuto lirico piccolo microscopico di minuscolo. Price arriva al massimo a un mezzo forte, non ha un forte e mai un fortissimo, e la interpretazione di Leontyne Price ? ridicola, assurdo, con la sua dizione italiana di Brooklyn e i suoi manierismi caricaturali. Solo un Callasiano potrebbe criticare Tebaldi in questo video, chi è la tua cantante preferita? Scommetto che è la Callas con la sua voce ventriluoco, orrenda e la Callas come attrice nei suoi videos la Callas sembra una strega dei cartoni animati

For me, the trouble with Tebaldi is that her intonation was never perfect. Her sense of pitch was not entirely infallible. Even here, the pitches are often not dead on. "Close enough for jazz," as they used to say, but not close enough for me.
Tebaldi's vibrato is so unwavering that her high notes are so clean that have no irregular vibrations thus her pitch is perfect. Save your nonsense words TassiloDavid. I guess you are a Callas fan. I don't understand what you are trying to say... Bel canto is bel canto itself, why it has to close other type of singing? For this aria, Tebaldi has already done her best...and with no doubt, this is one of the most perfect performance of this aria, if you don't have enough sense to discover how wonderful this version is, it's your lost😂
Tebaldi would on occasion sing too big in passagio which caused occasionally flat high notes. But if singers were always perfectly in tune they'd sound boring too. What stirs people is the intensity of the overtones, unrestricted free and emotional singing. There will never be another Tebaldi. The ENTIRE CAST of this recording are PHENOMENAL. This is perhaps the best Opera production caught on video in terms of the quality of the signing. I've heard better quality versions of this very performance sounds a bit low bit rate and overly digital but we still get an idea of the quality.
