The reasons I’m considering the Ultra 2: 1. The larger, cellular Series 10 in aluminum is already $530. Or $520 on Amazon. 2. The Ultra 2 is about $735 on Amazon, and it has the bigger screen and cellular by default. 3. The Ultra 2 has two times the battery life. When I look at it this way, it’s only about 30% more expensive I think and it’s mostly better in every way, unless you want the lightest watch. The Series 10 is light and comfortable. I tried it. But I want the masculine look of the Ultra 2, the durability, and to not have to worry about battery life. If I decide to stream music while I’m in the gym for example, I need to know it can last through the whole day with above average usage.
Love the video, lots of great points, it makes a lot of sense. I have the 10 in grey alu, because of price vs durability, and I'm avoiding the jet black as scuffs will be more visible. Battery: get an extra charger + 20 cm cable USB-C to USB-C on Aliexpress for a few bucks, which I connect to my iPhone 15 Pro, this gets me by on that rare occasion I run out of juice. If you can afford an Ultra, great. But calling it an investment... not really. Technology changes too fast for that.
I originally got a series 10 and slate titanium but the battery died so soon especially running the workout app you dropped down to 840 or 50%. And being a woman, especially with all the dangers of the world that they are I would prefer something with a little more precision with the GPS as well as younger battery life just in case and the siren is hopeful too. So I went and got the ultra 2 in black. I have small wrist so it does look big, but I don’t mind it.
Not a fan of the new black look of the ultra, to each its own I guess. The series 10 in titanium looks so elegant, I ended up choosing the ultra because of its battery and it fits my needs as I’ve become more active in my life.
The ultra 2 is massive I have very large wrist and it still looks big on my wrist. My sister in law is very small she tried it on and it literally looked like a cell phone attached to her wrist!
lol, nice Martin! Was thinking of you while recording this. That 10 Gold Titanium might be the best release of the lineup. Good luck man, can't wait to hear what you pickup!
obviously getting the series 10 . ultra just ugly af and not comfortable at all . complaining about the battery obviously stupid complain, person who don’t even workout or exercise or outdoor keep on finding stupid complain. series 10 has almost 99% function of the ultra .
Best comparison summary yet!
Oh nice, thank you so much Ess! I really appreciate the kind words, so glad you liked the video :) Thanks for checking it out and the awesome comment!
Easy for you to say, all your points are valid. But do consider the purchasing power the average consumer has.
Then this is not for you! This comment is horribly idiotic. So people can’t recommend what the think is a better product because you can’t afford it?
@@ba929cbrexactly. I was torn between the two myself and was going Titanium either way. This video really helped me make up my mind.
@@ba929cbr yeah man, it's racist! ;-)

I would like to try the Ultra 2 but i have smaller wrists so Series 10 for me :D
I have a 177mm wrist and it does not feel big at all… I saw people complain but I don’t know why it’s been pretty comfortable and not heavy for me.
The ultra 2 is massive I have very large wrist and it still looks big on my wrist. My sister in law is very small she tried it on and it literally looked like a cell phone attached to her wrist!
My only complaint about the ultr 2 is the dial can pinch your wrist if at 145 degree angle
💯💯💯
I prefer the natural look titanium ultra 2. I bought that one
Nice review, what size wrist and band size do you have. I'm bang on 180mm so at top end of M and bottom of large.

Same price but HALF the battery life? Shut up and take my money! 😂
