Are sons roll models are rolling stones unknown or deceased, They figure we cant teach them manhood, so they get grown in the streets, So when its cold war they find warmth with men holding the heat. AMAZING!!!!!
Allhamdulillah this is what can be described as what alot of us women want but by the grace of allah we have one more broken heart to go after listening to this brother peace!
A slew of chills smacked me right at the end. His delivery is incredible. I also like how he didn't try to use personal beliefs as a part of his argument.
Actually, it is mentioned in reference in the poem, just not in depth simply because the woman's mistakes weren't the topic of the poem. The poem was about her accepting her past and looking toward her future (with a bit of pessimism). He said it took her some time to herself to discover that "having love is even more important than having a lover" I'm sure the time she took to herself was her understanding her bad choices with lovers without love. So it was mentioned, just not dwelled on.
I love that being a male doesn't make you a man. This simple truth has faded from common knowledge until it becomes an amazing revelation every time a MAN speaks about it. I love this piece.
This is LEGIT. I wish more guys didn't care about seeming "MACHO" and were more down to earth and in touch with their own emotions! It seems like they just pretend they dont even have emotions these days.
