cruise control doesn't maintain MAX speed, it locks at a certain speed, which is set by the rider/driver and gets the car/bike cruising even if the driver moves his foot/hand from the accelerator pedal/throttle...generally it's an electronic feature in cars and high end bikes and turns on with a switch and off with the switch/or if u push the accelerator again ..but the one in the video is a manual device, which does the same thing manually....but ya it can't be called proper cruise control..
Dude its not risky. Electronic cruise control feature comes with expensive adv bikes this is acceleration control but if you are touring and riding on national highway then there is no prob using it. If an idiot is using it in city then it is that person's fault.

Like shown in the video u are riding at 70 km right so at that moment the speed can be reduced to 30 or 40 just by reducing the accelerator or we have to spin the wheel ?

Whereas, Companies that provide throttle assist uses sensors and are electronically operated which is not at all risky because in that case, as soon as you apply brakes, throttle assist disengage.

This is 1000 times better than that cheap Knob used which holds on front break. If you know how to drive then this product is absolutely safe. You should only know where to use it.

Cruise control means the vehicle moved at a set speed. It doesn't need to be max or top. In cars, I think the speed needs to be 40 kmph minimum.
