Peltz looks like an idiot and he knows it.
Who is more out of touch Disney or CNBC? Who will go under first?
What a terribly wasted opportunity with Star Wars and Marvel. How could you ruin those? What a waste. It's so sad.
Marvel is worth 60bil, Lucasfilm is worth 70bil. There's a reason you're in the the comment section and not on some board. Imagine if some troglodyte said "DC is not worth a penny 9 films in a row all bombed, Warner should jst sell it"....
thank god ur not on some board: cause Star wars and Marvel make Disney a fortune year round.
@@aishaalamoudi599WOW! Who is paying you to say this? Even then your comment logically doesn't make sense, weirdo. Yea, those are what they BOUGHT them for. Now you would be lucky to give those studios away. I got facts all day and you got hot air, son 🌬
@@nadaproblem3023 sure, anyone who disagrees with cultural warriors is paid by Disney. Any more conspiracies while we're at it? if u have no valuable input, please don't engage.
@aishaalamoudi599 if it makes them a fortune why is the stock price underpreforming. Get off the crack son.
If the stock price is underperforming, they are not making a fortune. What are you talking about?@@JM-xk6oz
Woke needs to go away now
I'm with Nelson Peltz this shows that greed (money) is even better than extreme views presented by the journalist at 1.58 We already have this in the Bible, Jesus was crucified by people of faith, not the godless Pontius Pilatus who was interested in power and money ideas and views can be very dangerous
Disney ruined every franchise it bought, because of woke activism.
Go woke go broke. Disney’s target audience is less than 1% of the population😂
Kanye, Musk, Swift, Barbie,.... Musk literally cussed out Iger and as a direct result Twitter's evaluation dropped 73%..Rumble, Truth Social, Ron DeSantis' career.... I can't script better examples for anti-woke is broke. The reason you don't hear about Bud Light any more is because Anheuser Busc's stock is soaring.
this woke broke nonsense is now something you cant say in public among people who know what they're talking about or you'll be mocked.
lol nothing to do with woke 😂😂😂😂
@@BlueCode-w1n are you high? Absolutely EVERYTHING to do with woke, DEI policies. Man, you're really good at critically analyzing social factors!
@@BlueCode-w1nI bet you a disney billion and bob igers chair, that it got everything to do with woke
Go Nelson! I’m voting for you!
Peltz needs to also take an activist investor position in 3M and oust their inept management team. That company also needs a big overhaul.
Work at 3m, can confirm. Too much focus on corporate trickery instead of just good old “improve processes, increase production”
which is why you're in the comment section and not on some board
Please change disney and get ride of the woke.
Despite the fact that I invest, I am frustrated by my incapacity to assess each company's performance and determine whether or not this is the best time to buy stocks. Inflation is depleting my monetary reserves. I need reliable market trajectory data at this point, but I'm not sure what to do.
Despite my conviction in your direction, my recent stock purchases, and the fact that I am an AMC shareholder, I have not been able to amass anything. I had been in debt for far too long before the collapse. What are the steps required in investing?
I completely agree, which is why I think it's important to delegate decision-making responsibility to an investment coach. Underperformance is essentially unimaginable given their specialized experience and education, as well as the fact that each of their skills is focused on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable events. Working with an investment coach for over two years, I've made over $1.5 million.
@@danieljackson87 How does one go about finding a capable FA? I appreciate the notion of using their services, but it's too bad that stock market meltdowns have recently become commonplace.
I've avoided all of the problems that the volatile market provides. Reading, research, patience, and seeking help when needed are the best strategies to break into the market today. Because I am unable to manage my portfolio due to the nature of my profession, I just mimic Stacey Laura Alviani, a CFA, whose acts I observed on Bloomberg Business News. Everything has been simple since then.
Put it all on black
Wasn't Disney a stock darling some years ago? Iger being the best CEO ever, and all that
That’s what happens when your brand goes woke
Save us Nelson..
Anyone is better than Bob and the current board.
It will be me taking over Disney and there won't be a board anymore.
Put him in. Can’t get worse at Disney.
When men like this go away, this country will go off the rails
Thought this was the old dude from oceans 11
Nah way richer lol
Disney created by artists. Destroyed by suits. Anyone still wondering how to fix the conpany? Cannot run an entertainment studio with talentless CSuite.
that's a DEI board at Disney......nuff said. LOL
Iger should have stayed retired. Walked away and said it’s your problem now.
King Peltz coming to take his throne!
He's absolutely right. It's all about the Benjamins. He and all investors are not going to tolerate such horrendous share performance for such a large good profitable business with a wide moat. The board demonstrated poor leadership and decision making and has to go and he looks like the guy to get it done.
Cultural warriors don't belong in business. Anyone whose opinion is worth a damn is mocking Peltz.
@@aishaalamoudi599 sadly for your argument Disney works with products whose success depends on cultural impact and relevance, the movies and TV shows bombing and failing shows that Iger is the one that shouldn't be in businesses.
@@ReinoldFZ almost all of that is hyperbolic nonsense. Wow, this video attracted a lot of limbic sore simple-minded cultural warriors. It's not clear to you yet, but it will be.

DIS is a disaster. Peltz is a straight shooter. Love his style!!!
His got my vote!
Im done with lucas and marvel. Keep buying and destroying everything till your woke agenda train gets derailed crashes and burns. Rip star wars and xmen. Will never watch any thing disney again.
These cnbc presenters looks like they're so far up disneys behind that they cant see straight.
The destruction of Star Wars, Marvel, Indiana Jones, and Disney’s classic Splash Mountain is not only grounds for removal of Bob Iger in disgrace, he should be sued for all the money he stole all these years as a complete fraud.
Bought DIS in the $80’s so I can’t complain. Doesn’t mean I want a dysfunctional BOD collection $$$
Disney, after 2023 (and 7 out of 8 of its movies losing money):
"Modern audiences...WHERE WERE YOU?!?!"
NELSON IS AWESOME!!! DOWN WITH THE DISNEY BOARD!
Disney will be $20. Peltz will buy the company then
sure...wait for it to do so then.
Disney just went woke. And that’s it.
There is no customer problems.
Peltz: With friends like the Disney board, who needs enemies.
The boards target audience must be each other, nobody else wants this crap
So many directors for Disney Amusement parks. None of those people work at the movie company.
ask him how much of this is about her daughter trying to become a director after her failed acting career
Mr. Bob Iger: let Nelson Peltz sit in the board! He can only help! Disney will be better with him!
Peltz coming out swinging in this interview. Bobby has a good reason to be scared.
anyone who understands how this works knows that's nonsense. below 2% means he has no power and all the respected established shareholder are backing Iger, this is going to be embarrassing it was already a long shot.
Peltz is right, Disney Parks need WAY more capital to maintain, grow, and modernize. It's the one cash cow Disney has, but money is being wasted on garbage movies and streaming. Get back to the basics.
Nelson should be on the board…
Has to be self sabotage 😭
"Incredibly well stocked board of people who are fully capable of holding the management team accountable." Than why aren't they?!?!
Also is that Cramer?!?! Jim Cramer has dropped the ball so many times, after his bad call on Tesla alone he should be scared to show his face in public, let alone giving advice?!?! Why tf is he out here interrogating qualified people?? Or even anybody? Dudes a Disney character himself and I'd rather have Goofy.
6% margin IS bad
Remember when Disney was for the working class. Now I have no idea who their target audience is
Disney has been the worst investment I've ever made. Such a woke trash company now. I have over 100k in it...
Holders want a leader!! Not Iger.
Disney share holders need to nominate Peltz, or maybe years later sell for pennies on the dollar.
End the woke crap and watch the stock climb
Hahahaha the interviewers were such dumasses, mr. peltz was so visibly annoyed but somewhat enjoying lecturing them :’)
I like this guy
#Doomcock was right!
Look at the ratio. Legacy media is deader than my dead aunt petunia
Peltz wants his Zaslav
Whats Logan doing here
OK... the interviewer was a bit mean to him. But if you donnu what you're talking about, and have nothing to say when asked about a strategy, then you need to be called out. He's like 90, he should have a more dignified end of life.
Inflation pushed Disney down. Rate cuts help. More inflation.
LOSER DISNEY!(except for the Star Wars stuff, everything there is excellent:)
Holding a brand for decades is not easy. Our focus change and our preference change. For kids - Mickey mouse to Peppa and from Peppa to Bluey. When Disney bought Pixar, people complained. Same for Marvel and 20th Century fox. If you don't take risks in biz you would just stay the same. I strongly think they are at right track in long term!
Well when I take over and usher in the Make Disney Great Again era. Disney is not great anymore and I will be the Trump it needs to make it great again. Disney is going to be losing all those acquisitions under antitrust and no one will miss them. Disney will learn its place in the world as nothing but an animation studio with some theme parks that asks "what would Walt do?" to get things done like it did after his death and will again under my ownership even if that means being stuck in the 1960s and turning kids into clones of their parents.
Nelson Peltz go retire!! Disney need spend more to grow not less, unless you cripple the company.

Peltz is sus af
Disney needs more diversity and innovation brains in that directors group.
They just need to make good stories and quit being political. It's all for an illusory investment in "diversity" at the behest of investment groups and the UN anyway.
Disney needs to be run by Walt loyalists who submit to the "What would Walt do?" mantra that ran Disney after his death.
I love that the board called him out: "you have no experience, what's your strategy" and his answer is "I will increase profit margins", o wow, what else? "I will make Disney+ profitable", he looks like a child and it's going to be glorious. He already had no chance to begin with after these statements he proved he's like cultural warriors in comment sections; sore, butthurt and has no idea what he's saying or doing.
Peltz is arrogant and wants to enrich himself. If he doesn't like how the company is run, he shouldn't buy more stocks.
he knows it. even with Perlmutter he only has less 2%. All the respected shareholders are backing Iger.
@@aishaalamoudi599They can continue supporting Iger at their own demise.
The Proxy fight where a know nothing has less than 2% and when called out for a strategy his answer is "I will increase profits" you can't make this up.
Peltz controls over 10% of Disney stock. And one of Peltz’s nominees, James Rasulo, was with the company for decades, including its 1990s renaissance period. But regardless, a new perspective is clearly needed, since the current leadership of Disney is failing on literally every front.
