I am still shocked how many Disney executives have kept their job after the year they had. And don’t try to blame this on Chapek.

Bob Iger will burn as many shareholder billions as it takes to keep his private shower suite.
Chapek is the fall guy or in Iger's case the fall goy.
I've owned DIS since 2012 with additional buys in 2015 and 2020. My worst investment compared to all my other investments. DIS executives have completely destroyed shareholder value. The shareprice is back to 2013 levels. What a mess.
the same applies to Warner, Paramount, there's a reason why people who know what they're talking about rate Disney as a strong buy but amateurs and cultural warriors only exist in the comment sections of social media

Are you saying all the ratings are in on the conspiracy? cause most of them look at the stock and rate it a "buy", the remaining few are a "hold" and very very few are "sell". Are you saying you, a cultural warrior in the comment section on UA-cam, know better than all the banks, funds and agencies that do stock and market research for a living? didn't think so.

@@aishaalamoudi599 analyst "ratings" and their price targets on Disney have been completely useless as if they predicted anything about the shareprice tanking. Do they ever publish a timeline by when we should expect their price targets to be reached? Never. The fact that all you cling onto is the analyst ratings proves that you are just a cheer leader and completely ignore the market downgrading the stock itself by more than 60% from all time highs for over a year+.
If analyst ratings have a "buy" on the stock, then explain why the shareprice is still in the pits? Please explain.
The market is a far better predictor about Disney's future than any analyst rating which comes based on forward guidance from Disney management themselves. The market has evaluated decline in revenues and stagnation from its subdivisions to cut the shareprice by half and back to 2013 levels. So what the hell are you talking about as if analyst ratings ever meant anything. The proof is in the performance of business decline itself way into the future which the market has evaluated into the shareprice.

Bob Iger's insane activist initiative Reimagine Tomorrow has driven stock down. If you have seen their leaked zoom meeting it is breathtakingly insane.
Well what is your idea instead? Iger asks Peltz that same question about what ideas he has? And all he is saying is do what Netflix does? First of all Netflix/Amazon etc have already maxed out how many cows(subscribers) they can round up globally and milk every month. There are no further cows to milk. They are already cutting costs, firing people and introducing ads. Watch their margins dropping in the coming quarters. Secondly Disney is much more than a streamer of content. So Peltz is not suggesting anything useful or new. He is just going to interfere in Igers strategy of focusing on Quality of Content which is the only way to extract more milk from the cows. Working that out always takes time. The number of cows available are not increasing at the same rate Content has exploded.
Reimagine Tomorrow is going to be shut down in the near future and when I take over Disney, I will do like Walt and name each one of its members in front of Congress as a Red and have them blacklisted.

Peltz is right on his analysis, the company is out of control and the movies stink but on the bright side not quite as much as the parks stink.

Their next film is already projected to be the highest grossing film this year, Deadpool3. He's negotiating the NFL deal which no one thought would get far enough to inform NFL owners and members. Holding a brand for decades is not easy. Our focus change and our preference change. For kids - Mickey mouse to Peppa and from Peppa to Bluey. When Disney bought Pixar, people complained. Same for Marvel and 20th Century fox. If you don't take risks in biz you would just stay the same. I strongly think they are at right track in long term!
Well when I take over and usher in the Make Disney Great Again era. Disney is not great anymore and I will be the Trump it needs to make it great again. Disney is going to be losing all those acquisitions under antitrust and no one will miss them. Disney will learn its place in the world as nothing but an animation studio with some theme parks that asks "what would Walt do?" to get things done like it did after his death and will again under my ownership even if that means being stuck in the 1960s and turning kids into clones of their parents.
