Rockpiles was like my daily stomping grounds since I worked at Hilton Hawaiian Village 2min walk away. So many points between bowls and kaisers, loved Rock piles all visitors and newbies pay their dues on the *fana* inside especially lowtide ya haha 😆🌈💯🤙

you can surf bowls, then paddle over to rock piles - its all great - especially the easy parking haha - it is a convenient break to surf.
Very convenient if you don't mind paddling for close out section waves 😂 At least there's plenty of waves there for everyone 🤗

If I’m not mistaken, that reef was the result of Henry Kaiser dredging what is now the lagoon at the Hilton. Rock pile and Kaisers.

As retired US Air Force, we love to stay at the Hale Koa. It’s my favorite place on the planet. Though in our 60s now, my wife and I still surf. These waves are a gift from heaven!🙏🙏🏄♂️🏄🏻

Awesome videos it really takes the beauty when you can see it from the drone. The GoPro Max I use it I recommend it you might want to start using that one as well the 360 or a 360 camera will be also awesome to include it on your videos
Yes I told my husband to wait for the max 2 but he's stubborn and ordered GoPro 11 😠 that's ok maybe we'll still end up getting one
So many good female longboarders, and that spot is faster and shallower than Canoes or Queens.

The water and reef look so gorgeous. What time were you shooting? I was out at three's around noon and it was some of the best medium size I've ever seen it.

That's Kaiser's left; Rockpiles is a right and it is the next break west of Kaiser's.
Really? But it's so far away from Kaisers right and the left at Kaisers is really far away too...
No it's Rockpiles, literally paddle straight out from the parking lot a little west towards bowls, that's where they're surfing. You can go right, straight, left, that wave doesn't hold up it tends to shuts down
Wrong. Rockpiles has rights and lefts. Kaiser's is a 5 minute paddle from Rockpiles.

Hey I'm hoping to surf here either august or October, how deep is it out there, like you don't have to worry about hitting bottom when you fall off do you???and also not many people wearing leashes, is it because of all the rocks or something???
Not really, you should always wear a leash no matter what unless you're a pro

@@oahuforjustice 100%. Actually, Brubi Beach, Neslon Bay that connects to Newcastle. Most amazing sand and feels like home every time i step foot on Waikiki

😂 there's always longboards there for some reason as long as I've been surfing, that's why you should surf bowls and avoid it 😆
