this is my personal guide to mk 1 pc setings. theirs alot to cover. im no expert but Ill try my best to cover my personal findings on the settings best for you and some possible issues you may be having with runinng it at stable 60 fps. Apologies for audio was to close for once.
PC set up GTX1070 ,3200 DDR4 ,core i5 4.00 GHZ all overclocked

Note resolutions over 1080p tend to strugle alot more the higher you go especialy 4k it does 20 fps no matter settings regardless of cpu and gpu usage. Recomend either using upscale or changin monitor res to half of your monitor for solid fps.

"If you have anything modern you should be fine." Me, watching the game stutter nonstop on a i9 13900k + 4090... surrreee. The game is super poorly optimized for pc... as almost all new games are on pc...
put balanced mode in windows performance setting I had the same issues on high performance with 13700k and 6800 xt now it's all smooth ;)

Game runs fine for me on an r5 5600 rx 6700xt I haven't had to change any settings but I do use fsr 2.1 for 4k

When i switched from hdd to ssd my performance got so much better. Fixed long load times and stuttering
i downloaded the game on hdd, do i have to uninstall and reinstall to my ssd? Or is there another way that doesn't involve uninstalling.

why do i just have low and medium in graphics setting?
i have ( 1650 ti and 16g ram)
appearently if you have 4gb of vram, the game lockes the settings to low and medium
Thanks for the video, I was looking for a video like that but noone had setup like mine, and then I found your video and understood that buying mk1 is a good idea cuz my pc can run it (have got the same setup as yours)
do be wary mk can be a pain to run. not optimized 100 and if somethings off it will crash. hence why made the vide. but yea good for you to know it can work.
I have the same problem. My PC is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 and an RTX 360ti and 16 gb ram and the story mode sticks too much. After the combat it often jerks in fps when going through the cinematic. It seems that it is a bad optimization error why my hard drive is an nvme m.2 ssd and the problem continues

Best advice to give.. "DO NOT BUY ON PC" ... its absolute waste of money. Performance is horrible for such an expensive game. its a horrible port..
It depends on the system that is running if you have bad hardware then it will not run as good

The game just like previous games is horribly optimized for PC.
They outsource this task to a third party and his has always been shit.

@@FAKE-vq6dz yeah a lot. It loaded shader for like 20 minutes. And even then there was still loading lag.

If you want to tweak your settings go to Shang Tsung's experiment stage with the experiment turned on and use reptiles enhanced acid spit to further push the GPU (sweet spot between the tanks on the left and the experiment), and pay attention to the GPU usage %/framerate. This is the best stage I've found that pushes the GPU. I tweaked my temporal upscaling resolution to the max I could go without FPS dropping below 59 and the GPU usage in the mid 90% range most the time/staying above 59fps at 100% usage. I'm on an overclocked GTX 1080 8GB/R5 5600X on a 1440p Monitor. Ultra textures, 16x aniso, Medium Shadows/Particles, ambient occlusion on, Bloom/Reflections/Chromatic off, 90% temporal render resolution (1296p)/33% sharpness. Particles on high lags certain brutalities and invasion mode stages so medium seems the most consistent.
So I definitely like these settings and feel like they helped. Haven't tried story mode to see if hiccuping has been fixed yet but do you also experience long load times for versus? Charecter models also take a bit to load as well. Any assistance would be appreciated, using an ssd btw. Thanks.
yea knaw the loads were kinda losed. gona have to wait for a patch. even on ssd. hard drive owners rip.

I have a decent pc, but my graphics are stuck on either medium or low and i cant go any higher which i would like. I'd like to mention that EVERY other fighting game i have on steam works perfectly fine on high graphics EXCEPT mk1 which sucks because i really want to play it with decent graphics

I just bought MK1 on STEAM I use rtx 3060 but the performance is taking time to change from main menu to where I have to Select a character how can it be adjusted to run smoothly

@@bastienaschehoug6566bro, when i wrote this comment, i had a GTX 1650 4gb, but recently i got a RTX 3050 8gb, and i could go past medium setting, i think depending on how much VRAM your gpu has, the game limits the settings so it doesnt exceed your vram limits

I have a 1080 ti and i can max out on ultra with no frame drops, im shocked tbh.
how? i have gtx1060 and i7 but i cant run even in low settings(it is max 54 fps). For 60 fps i use fsr2 but i dont like it cause fatalities and fatal blows are not as good as with normal settings.
bro i dont have the option to change aa mode and i can only change between medium and low for quality. i have a gtx 1650. i have turned all my setting to low or off and it still stutters
The game only stutters and is so slow in the menu and it runs perfectly in the actual game and cutscenes
@@PremierePaladin After searching for a long time I found out it's because I installed it on HDD. It needs an SSD.
Or we can wait for future updates until they optimize it, if they do.

I have an AMD RX 6600, 16g ram, and ryzen 5500, basically in the middle ground too, and on ultra everything is amazing, the only problem I have with this game on pc is loading times….takes waaay to long to load anything, and it kinda scares me, can’t figure out how to fix the loading.

I have about 11 - 18 fps and im sure its not my pc cuz I can play rdr2 with Max graphics and cyberpunk without any Problems
My game is still patching on steam, but it takes too long to finish.
Game runs flawlessy on a 7800x3d with a 7900 xtx. Only issue is i want higher fps than 60..it's too slow lol.
I have the recommended settings for this game and it won’t run without lag no matter what settings I have low or high. I wouldn’t recommend this game on pc. It doesn’t run. Don’t grief yourself.
For you to have dlss you need rtx 20xx 30xx or 40xx

My game always crashes while loading (specifically rematch and towers). I can usually get through the first match no problem but when I rematch or play Kombat League I crash. Would you say this is more of a ram problem, a cpu problem, or a vram problem?
cant say without your spec, but crash happens a lot with not enough vram
@@antoineleroi1334My game can run really smoothly on the lowest graphics. I have a i5 8400 and a gtx 1060 3gb with 16 gbs of ram. I downloaded Razer Cortex and it pretty much immediately made the game playable. For me, it was a ram availability issue and hard drive storage space.
I have a 1660 ti i believe and i have an i7 cpu but for somereason the game's constantly on 20fps and wont go higher and when i did autoconfig to make the vame run better, it did change a lot and game ran better but its still at 20fps and after autoconfig the game graphically started looking much worse. Like it looked like an early ps4 game. Also i saw that u changed resolution to 1080p. How did u do that? Istg idk why the game doesnt let me bring it down from 4k in borderless to anything lower. I have to select windowed and then when i go down to 1080p my screen isnt fullscreen anymore
So for some reasone mk only will go to your monitor resolution. Im only 1080 cant change it to anything else. As far as the fps. No clue.not sure if u using in game benchmark for fps or steam/third party one because they are realy off for some reasone.but if not that and geniuen game chopy . Could be the resolution or the ram/cpu problem I mentioned. Best advice i could give that i havent is change your monitor res to whatever you want from windows then boot game. Plan on doing myself since i find 1080 not clean enoughf for myself personaly.
@@greatestgamer00 Yes after going to nvidia and changing monitor resolution down to 2k or 1080p the game run significantly better now and its actually good looking. its not ps5 level in my opinion and I have to have to other apps open for it to run well but its much better now thank god. tnx for the help

And the fact that MK1 had to get a 60 FPS PATCH FOR PC IN 2023 is embarrassing.
honestly may wanna go ps5 for the loading screen alone. severl complaint myself as well. seen some ps5 5 sec .pc with an SSD like 20 seconds. unless you wanna wait for like 2 patches., they sed crossplay is cooming so keep that in mind as well.

means you problably have upscaler on. turn it of then AA shoudl be available.

hey in local versus mode how can play both player means 2 player in one keyboard like old mk games or 1 player in keyboard and 1 player in joystick such as mk11
me and friend tried we had issue. no idea how to make it work consistently . we literaly just pluged and unpleged controler 2 and it worked fine. so try that? sory fi doesent help

I have a question, my monitor is 4k, but I don't understand why I can't lower the resolution of the game, is the option blocked? Do I necessarily have to change the Windows resolution? I have the 3070 ti and it is excellent but only for 1440p. Is there another way to fix it or are we just waiting for better optimization from Steam?
yea you have to ligit change the res in windows. might get updated but as it stands not a great port.
Yea I’m on 5600x 6600xt on a 4k tv, I can’t make 1080p look decent (motion blur) so I set windows resolution 1440p and it’s pretty good…, for the most part

it will run it just not very good. realy bad optimized game. only thing holding you bakc is the low V ram on card but even then this game will randomly crash still even with curent set up in vid. eeither wait hope they fix this or my recommendation just get the console version.

Why dont i have the option for "custom" for graphics preset. I only have the option between low or medium, which is really aggravating.

The game requires SSD to run well. Internal HDD causes long load times. External HDD would be even worse
