This is very much outdated and is leading people to complain about other issues which exist, also you used the main branch and not the dev branch which fixes this issue years ago. Cats also now has a unofficial version which fixes many more and is updated to blender 4.x. Please can we make sure users know this information as we are getting daily complaints due to videos like this, thanks! Please note the OG video removed there video due to it being outdated.

Each GTA is good in it's own way. I love all of the GTA games (except 6 cause it's not came out yet lol) no matter if they have more content or less. Sure, I love some of them more and others less but still, if the games are enjoyable then why not enjoy them? Instead, people are trying to find a bad things about certain game and frame it as the worst. Just stop been a-hole and enjoy the games!

i like pointing out how option selects and knowledge checks reduce a game's visual appeal. i wish devs would put more visual noise and audio cues in the game unique to every situation, in order to counteract this. also by just designing the game around not needing many option selects. i think knowledge checks are fine if there was some sort of in-game visual marker (or audio one). one example i can think of off the top of my head, I-No in strive has slow note projectile, and fast not projectile. just make the fast one red and the slow one black, something along these lines.

Idk if I see what you mean about the movement and execution being weaker in VF than high level street fighter. Examples you used for VF folks are ducking on purpose and using high execution strings that norms can see take still. Though I respect your opinion on the spectacle of fighters for those spectators 1:1. They love big flashy impacts and ultra special moves. It makes it look like a video game and video games are fun! What initially attracted me to VF was the way movement looked in high level play. Crouch dashing, string canceling into throws, side step being effective, the clear mind games...in my experience I could see it choreographed clearly. Looks to me like a kung fu flick or a UFC match and I eat that up. Also VF has very simple special movies. Sarah, Jacky, and Akira have meaty special moves. Sarah's summersault kick and Akira's shoulder are iconic. I do agree with the Impact of moves i.e. hit sparks and outdated sound design tho. REVO improved ALOT there and the VF6 teaser look amazing in that department.

All i know is that majority of the long term fans are being continuously disappointed by tekken since 7 and most of them will be moving to virtua fighter once it’s back. I get how most of those who loved the clive update also do not have any idea what virtua fighter is. Because they are mostly casuals or gen Zs who do not know what tekken used to be and sadly they are the same people that bumco is now catering to. I agree with you that tekken is becoming too reliant of guest characters. And while i do not believe that tekken will die like how soul calibur did, especially after winning the Fgoty, i truly i think it’s going down that same path. And more so now that a real competition is back. And a true martial arts fighting game at that.

Clive trailer views: Combined from two fanbases (Tekken & FF) VF: Pure VF fans 1 is reliant on multiple factors & fanbases to get the views, the other is just pure hype of its existence This makes VF look better not worse

From what I see. I would say Clive is a "magic character". He uses a lot more of magics than he uses his sword.

On one side I get why IAmOP says that Clive was successful based on the views, But people already have purchased Tekken which contributed with the view numbers (not adding analysis of trailers and those who just want to catch up with the reveal trailer) unlike VF which was only just a reveal

Soul Calibur died for sipping too much of it own Kool-Aid and getting lazy. Relying on guest characters instead of developing the ones they already had, or adding more, seemed a very obvious oversight. The problem with weapon based fighters is that they are limited by the weapons themselves. Once you run out of weapons, it's difficult to then introduce new characters around them. As far as I'm aware, we never had a pair of Sai or pitchfork Bo Staff used right? There was two opportunities gone straight away. Can think of ball and chain too or raw chain, although that would kind of take you away from that raw Japanese old school weapon use. Soul Calibur was in a specific type of universe until they started introducing Star Wars characters into it of course. With regards VF, I'm not sure I agree that it's not a good spectator fighter to watch, who have you been watching? If you watch the pros play, it is highly entertaining. It's even more entertaining when you understand the level of skill required to do what they're doing, when and how they are doing it. I guess, if you don't know VF and didn't grow up on it as I did, I can see why it's difficult to see the beauty in it from the outside with a pair of casual eyes looking on compared to Tekken. VF is a hardcore purest fighting game and if you were around in 1990's to see the graphical and technological leaps the series was making, which was years ahead of anything else, even the PC space, you may see it from a different lens. I was lucky enough to be a teen during that period.

I honestly think that Conan's animations are just a bit sluggish and don't have that much power Conan would have. Either way I still think that he's a pretty neat pick for an MK fighter. Also respect for Naoto in the right up corner! It's such a neat addition! <3
