It was shot in a single take with no edit!! There was about 2000 kids in this video all listening to a song put throughout our schools intercom system. This lipdub was created by Lakewood High School to Katy Perry's "Firework". It was shot in a single take with no edit!! ENJOY!

Wow. my drama teacher showed us this in class today and I was AMAZED. i found the video again just to show my family. (I feel honered to live in the same state as this school)

Nice job ! You'll always have haters so dont sweat the few neg remarks. It was in sync, with a smooth camera, and the students KNEW THE Words, and creative! Lots to be proud of guys.

We are the tigers, too. We just did a lipdub of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen for my school today.. but we only got about 55 people there..
Kinda of funny to see how all these highschoolers have a job and everything, Im going there next year

@jwaintrub I can appreciate Lakewood's effort, however, if you want to see a lipdub that takes a considerable more amount of effort to be special, then you need to watch the Shorewood lip dub. It will blow your mind.

@HerbalGoonWizard dude, really? everyone who wanted to be in the video was. i am class of 09, and the 4 years i was there i happened to notice that most "mexicans" and "metalheads" dont tend to enjoy participating in these school spirit events. dont get me wrong, i am not saying that ALL of them dont. but i was a member of many groups at lakewood, and if you payed atleast a little attention while you are there, you will see that many of the groups that were not in the video actually dont care.

i think its funny how there are so many groups at lakewood, yet the only ones who appeared in the video are the "east atrium" kids, just white kids, the american eagle, abercrombie thick skulled jocks and arrogant drama kids...what about the rest of us? what about the endless sea of mexicans? what about all the long haired metalhead kids?this sure does make our school seem tolerant. but then again, the rest of us would refuse to participate in something that ridiculously uncreative...

My school sucked
While I appreciate the effort that went into the attempted choreography, I personally feel this video wasn't that great. More than half the kids did NOT know the words....or weren't singing them correctly. Just saying.
Their other video is so much better, and obviously the winner. Kudos to Lakewood HS and to Katy Perry for doing a great so early in the morning and at such a high altitude.
