Thank you for listening and loving one of the great artists of our country who once shaped the youth of our country :) Actually, you interpreted it melodically because you did not understand the words, but the lyrics of this song are also really striking. That's why all the young people in the concert can fully accompany :) Thanks brother from Turkey
I’m so damn proud that was my bday present from the sound tech and organisation team. it was such an honour and I was really really lucky that she was ok with the date. I spend all my luck in there I suppose but totally worth it. I would never ever ever forget that day. it was beyond amazing. guess I’ll never experience anything like that again (working in this business, been n seen a lot of concerts) it felt out of this planet. she is so damn unique and magical and amazing and all those beautiful words we can add. hope you ll have the chance to watch her live 🙏🏻

Some interesting backgrounds about her songs. Because her songs are her story: - Her sister was ill a long time and died in 1997. She wrote „deli kızım uyan” (wake up crazy girl) in the hospital for her. Her the Song „artik kisa cümleler kuruyorum“ of her melancholic album (1999) telling about these hard last years, and what changed in her life. In one sentence she wrote „My heart hurted 2 years ago“
She is this kind of voice everyone thinks oh gosh whats that I need more of this amazing strong voice and performances 💥 Hope that you need more from her too 🍀 keep healthy

Okay I'm gonna give you the full juicy story, because it makes this song extra powerful, you should listen it again after reading this. To me, Kelimeler Yetse (If Words Were Enough) (2003) is one the best Turkish Rock albums of all time. If I remember correctly, this song (Ben Şarkımı Söylerken - While I'm Singing My Song) was the debut single of the album. The whole album is very personal for Şebnem Ferah and probably dedicated to one person (more one that later). By that time, she already had one rough life. While her first solo album Kadın (Woman) was released back in 1996, her older sister was in a coma. She passed away in 1998. Şebnem dedicated her second album Artık Kısa Cümleler Kuruyorum (Now I Only Speak in Short Sentences) (1999) to her. Later that year, she also lost her father in Yalova Earthquake. I wouldn't wish such stuff even for my enemies. Nevertheless, she later had a relationship with the general director of her record label, and things were looking rather good for her after all. Though that didn't last for long. She learned from TV that her new boyfriend was having an affair with another pop singer from the same record label. I believe she never really admitted whom the album "Kelimeler Yetse" was written for, but it seems pretty clear at this point. All the songs are about disappointment, frustration, betrayal and so on. Here are the translated lyrics for Ben Şarkımı Söylerken: While I'm Singing My Song There is a fire burning inside me, my body feels narrow to me Either come to my fire with stoke or with water, I don't really care Talk all you want to me, lie all you want You can't silence the voices inside me that make me myself Did you thought that little slippery hole you crawled inside was a new and big world? I could help with a mirror, but you wouldn't care (Pre-Chorus) I can't stop wondering, how do you sleep at night? Don't mind me, answer it for yourself But can you please be honest at least this time? (Chorus) While I'm singing my song, you can turn up the volume Or you can turn it down, and ignore this too Who knows maybe you'll laugh or maybe you'll cry But you can't silence the voices in my heart A part of me still thinks of you A part of me is really angry with you Only you and me know what happened between us, you can't make me forget Don't ever think I hate you, you can't arouse those kind of emotions in me Even though you act like the past never did happen, you can't rewrite it (Pre-Chorus) (Chorus) And like I said before, that's just one song from the whole album. But for the next time, I'll suggest you to listen Bugün (Today) back from 1999. That song is again very personal for her, it's about her sister after her early passing away. I think it will always be her best.
When she pointed to the auditorium and everyone started shaking their hands, the last sentence she said was too much like "thank you" (xiexie) in Chinese. This performance is really passionate!
@@mitchmercan Thank you very much for your explanation. Positive and enthusiastic interactions are always exciting. Music is the most wonderful language, which makes us more willing to understand each other and the emotions in it.

Lyrics;
Vauv
Vauv
A fire burns inside of me
İçimde bir ateş yanıyor
My body has become narrow
Bedenim dar gelir oldu
Want to come to my fire with bellows
Ateşime ister körüklerle gel
Whether by water
İster suyla
Talk to me as much as you want
İstediğin kadar konuş benimle
Lie all you want
İstediğin kadar yalan söyle
The voices in me that make me who I am
Beni ben yapan içimdeki sesleri
You can't silence
Susturamazsın
The little slippery hole you got into
İçine girdiğin küçük kaygan deliği
Did you think it was a new and big world
Yeni ve büyük bir dünya mı sandın
If you want let me help with a mirror
İstersen bir aynayla yardım edeyim
But you don't care
Ama umursamazsın
I can't stop wondering
Merak etmeden duramıyorum
How do you sleep at night
Geceleri nasıl uyuyorsun
Never mind me answer yourself
Beni boşver kendine cevap ver
Please be honest this time
Lütfen bu kez dürüst olur musun
When I sing my song you turn up the volume if you want
Ben şarkımı söylerken istersen sesi açarsın
If you want, you can shrink and ignore it too
İstersen kısıp bunu da yok sayarsın
Who knows, maybe you will smile, maybe you will cry
Kimbilir belki gülümser belki ağlarsın
You can't silence the voices in my heart
Yüreğimdeki sesleri susturamazsın
Aah vauv aahAah vauv aah
Bir yanım seni hala düşünüyor
Part of me still thinks about you
Bir yanım sana fena kızgın
Only you and I know the ones
Yalnız sen ve ben biliyoruz olanları
You can't forget
Unutturamazsın
Don't think I hate
Sakın nefret ettiğimi düşünme
You can't have feelings like that in me
Bende böyle duygular barındıramazsın
Even if you act like the past never happened
Geçmiş hiç yaşanmamış gibi davransan da
You can't write from scratch
Baştan yazamazsın
I can't stop without wondering
Merak etmeden duramıyorum
How do you sleep at night
Geceleri nasıl uyuyorsun
Never mind me answer yourself
Beni boşver kendine cevap ver
Please be honest this time
Lütfen bu kez dürüst olur musun

I love Şebo
I was there Gandalf, I was there 3000 years ago... :') good old modern days...
I wasn't in that concert, but I had a chance to listen to her live performance, and I gotta say, she is definitely one of a kind. I was 20 when I went to her concert, and I'm 34 now, and that concert is still one of my best experiences. She is a legend for our generation. Thanks for your sincere reaction :)
Bu kadın her şarkı söylediğinde resmen ağlıyorum. Gözlerim doluyor bu nasıl bir duygu nasıl bir derinlik insanın tüyleri diken diken offff… şebocan sen müthiş bir detaysın…
Thank you for listening and loving one of the great artists of our country who once shaped the youth of our country :) Actually, you interpreted it melodically because you did not understand the words, but the lyrics of this song are also really striking. That's why all the young people in the concert can fully accompany :) Thanks brother from Turkey
She writes her songs, perfect voice, the queen😍
I’m so damn proud that was my bday present from the sound tech and organisation team. it was such an honour and I was really really lucky that she was ok with the date. I spend all my luck in there I suppose but totally worth it. I would never ever ever forget that day. it was beyond amazing. guess I’ll never experience anything like that again (working in this business, been n seen a lot of concerts) it felt out of this planet. she is so damn unique and magical and amazing and all those beautiful words we can add. hope you ll have the chance to watch her live 🙏🏻
Amazing singer!
Really love this song and music. Now I want to hear all her songs :)
Tüm şarkıları muhteşemmmmm!
I have been there!!! Şebnem is
unbelievable talented artist. I'm proud of her.
Can you listen ''Vazgeçtim Dünyadan'' from the same concert recording? And then you have a new fav. artist in your life :D
And please listen Perdeler feat Apocaliyptica
Why I can’t find your instagram page?
Her seferinde her seferinde tüylerin diken diken olması ve en sevdiğim şarkısı olmasıııııı😩😩😍❤️
Some interesting backgrounds about her songs. Because her songs are her story:
- Her sister was ill a long time and died in 1997.
Thank you for the info🌸
Wow I don’t even know these details even I’am Turkish. Thank you Ra for these valuable information.

Thank you so much for introducing me to music I'd never hear otherwise buddy.
That's why we are all here together ☺️👍
I am not sure how many times I watched this amazing performance. It reminded me my university times how we enjoy Şebnem, Duman, Mor ve Ötesi. those were the days my friend and really missed. and I also liked your reaction to this amazing show. thank you 👍
Almost every Turkish young person had gone to one of her concerts. She is literally one of the best Turkish voices ❤ i would recommend her song "Sil Baştan" its one of the songs that many people over the years tried to sing and undoubtedly failed. She is one of a kind
Şebnem Ferah - Delgeç (10 Mart 2007 İstanbul Konseri) must do it. insane !!!!
To me, she's the best female rock singer in the world.. You won't find that stage performance and its integration with the audience in any other singer. SEBNEM IS LOVE ❤️❤️
şebnem ferah-vazgeçtim dünyadan live performance reaction pleasee❤️❤️❤️❤️
The siren sound at the end of the song was really on point hahaha :) I really liked your reaction! As a Sebnem Ferah fan, I can say that she has a lot of songs that will make you feel in different galaxies man. Welcome to the club! :)
The electric guitar player is Metin Türkcan. He is also member of the Pentagram. You should listen Pentagram songs too.
I am watching your channel for the same reason you do a reaction to any of those artists: to hear something unusual, extraordinary. Thanks for Şebnem Ferah.
I SAW HER LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not this specific concert but all her concerts are like this I would see her again and again!!!!!!!
Şebnem Ferah 🇹🇷 o bir kraliçe... Ne yazık ki çok geç tanımışsını. Tüm listesine bakın. Özellikle can kırıklarına 🩵🩵🩵🩵
The song is full of emotions!
Şebo dünya çapında bir Rock star. Dünya kıymetini bilmeli. Kraliçe
şu performansı eurovision da hayal edemiyorum bile.
Also i want to add that the musicians she works with (Metin Türkcan, Buket Doran, Aykan Ilkan, Iskender Paydas) are some of the best acclaimed musicians here in Turkey.
She is amazing this is great music thank you for this video.
Şebnem is the BESTT 🇹🇷

She has the best voice in whole world ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best concert that has ever taken place in Turkey period
Here are the translated lyrics for Ben Şarkımı Söylerken:
While I'm Singing My Song
There is a fire burning inside me, my body feels narrow to me
Either come to my fire with stoke or with water, I don't really care
Talk all you want to me, lie all you want
You can't silence the voices inside me that make me myself
Did you thought that little slippery hole you crawled inside was a new and big world?
I could help with a mirror, but you wouldn't care
(Pre-Chorus)
I can't stop wondering, how do you sleep at night?
Don't mind me, answer it for yourself
But can you please be honest at least this time?
(Chorus)
While I'm singing my song, you can turn up the volume
Or you can turn it down, and ignore this too
Who knows maybe you'll laugh or maybe you'll cry
But you can't silence the voices in my heart
A part of me still thinks of you
A part of me is really angry with you
Only you and me know what happened between us, you can't make me forget
Don't ever think I hate you, you can't arouse those kind of emotions in me
Even though you act like the past never did happen, you can't rewrite it
(Pre-Chorus)
(Chorus)
And like I said before, that's just one song from the whole album.
But for the next time, I'll suggest you to listen Bugün (Today) back from 1999. That song is again very personal for her, it's about her sister after her early passing away. I think it will always be her best.
Teşekkürler.
Teşekkürler...
Thank you so much! 👍
I came to here to tell her story but I saw your comment and I'm truly glad that someone already told it. Thanks 💕
You are listening to one of the best women voices in the World! Her name is Şebnem Ferah!
Yabancılar da yolunu bulmuş hee hep Türkçe şarkılara tepki veriyorlar milletimiz hemen atlıyor izlenmeleri yükseliyor haliyle😂
Eğlenceli bence, bugüne kadar hep biz yabancıların şarkılarını dinliyorduk onlar da biraz tanışsın Türkçe müzikle.
Türkiye videoları para kazandırmıyor kardeş
Saçma tiktok videolarına gideceğine hakedenlere hakettiği değeri tam göremeyenlere gitsin
sanırım ingilizcen yok galiba ve şebnemi küçümsüyorsun
@@AlexMadhi ne alaka kardeş yabancıların çoğu türklerden prim kasıyor kabullenin şebnem ferahın kalitesine laf etmedik
I was there and i was one of the luckiest ones. She is definitely amazing in many many ways!!
When she pointed to the auditorium and everyone started shaking their hands, the last sentence she said was too much like "thank you" (xiexie) in Chinese. This performance is really passionate!
Xiexie,it did sound like that, but what she actually said was “size “which means for you or all of you (the crowd),so the audience sang as well.
@@mitchmercan Thank you very much for your explanation. Positive and enthusiastic interactions are always exciting. Music is the most wonderful language, which makes us more willing to understand each other and the emotions in it.
@@pengfeilai8217,Thank you also ,we still have Chinese words in our vocabulary from long ago.
@@mitchmercan she actually said "Siz de" which roughly means "You too" (plural or formal) but it also can be "Sizde" which will sound exactly same and in that case it means something like "You have it"
Definitely 🤘🤘🤘☺️👍
Ses süper şebnem harikaaa
I was there and listening her live was really insane 👩🎤 the next day we all lost our voices because of screaming all night along with her 😎
I was there that night. on the stage ... it was amazing ... ... and yes we were aware that we were doing something amazing ...
