In a comment, I recall someone (likely a guitarist) mentioning the (over) use of harmonics. When playing alongside a vocal powerhouse like Şebnem, who effortlessly transitions between registers with immense power, employing harmonics becomes essential. She is our rock queen ❤❤❤ also lyrics so powerful, wish you can understand, her vocal capabilities beyond any imagination. Oh I am so lucky to listen of her in the gig and have memories 🥰🥰
In fact, the reason why this song sounds cool to us is that its meaning is very deep and powerful. In Turkish, we describe this depth of meaning with a narrative technique called description. The summary meaning of the song is this: There is no one in the crowd who is really there for her and supports her. You think my heart is broken as much as the tears streaming down my cheeks. But actually my resentment is as big as the sea. The purpose of using the sea here comes from an idiom. That expression is: To cry inside. In other words, she explains that the tears have accumulated inside her as much as a sea. And she expresses that she is drowning in this sea with the expression "There is a sea inside me in which I swim."
WOW! I have never seen an English speaking person react to a Turkish performer. I love Sebnem Ferah and have seen her is concert. She is amazing. I love her band. Thanks for the reaction.

Sebnem Ferah is one such person. If the time machine was invented, I would go to this concert and watch it live. My age was available, but at that time I was in another city and could not go. Hi there ! I was watching another video and when it ended, it suddenly switched to this video and I am amazed by your reaction. Şebnem Ferah is the most beloved artist of mine, and I don’t know why but I can’t help it, if this song is the case, I’m literally thrilled! Goosebumps every time. Thank you for your valuable time to react it! Love 💕
I am writing from Turkey. It was a great feeling to watch Sebnem Ferah with you once again. I felt like I was listening to you for the first time. I love following you. I hope we can rediscover more Turkish artists together. you are amazing i love you
She is absolutely the best!!!! And I understand your reactions because Im giving the same reactions since the day I heard her great voice like at least 20 years ago! And feel so lucky to understand what she says 😍
The lyrics are also very important in here. The last 2 sentences she says " The one you see is rolling down on my eyes but in real inside me there is a sea" but the last word "var" like the English war .she especially singing that more strongly to indicate it. Look there IS a sea , you don't know but there is she says. When you understand the lyrics, the song gives you goosebumps
She is one of the best, maybe the best female rock singer in Turkey. The song's name is "Can Kırıkları" which is a made up word citing to "Cam Kırıkları" means broken fractures of glass and "Can" means "Life" so it becomes something like "Fractures of Life" I hope this translation would be helpful :) It was kinda hard but I am happy how it sound "Fractures of Life"
Her voice is just phenomenal, as is her use of language. She made me fall in love with the Turkish language (which is beautiful in its own right, I should say).
Dear lady, I watch your reactions with interest and congratulate them. You listen and evaluate the music with your soul and all your cells. I'm also looking forward to your new Turkish reactions. Greetings and thanks from Turkey.
I remember seeing this performance when it was first released and even though we already knew she was a phenomenal singer, all of us in Turkey were shocked to see how far she went with the vocals as the song progressed. The first time I sae this performance is etched in my memory because of that.
4:32 is the name and the punch line of the song (can kırıkları is a wordplay. "cam kırıkları" is "broken glases" but "-can- kırıkları" is "have been hurt by emotianlly. "can kıırıkları" doesn't have a regular use in turkish except this song. but whenever you read this words you can understand easly about "hurt feelings" :) also she is at my age and she is smoking toooo much. so she may have vocal issues (which I am not an expert about this)
I hope you do understand that people worship her like a godess not only because she has a heavenly voice but also because her lyrics are always so story telling which people can relate and 11:34 ... yes exactly (:
Şebnem Ferah'ı canlı dinleme şansım oldu. Yıllarca tv'de, nette duyduğumdan fazlası var eksiği yok. Kendisini canlı dinlemek çok ayrı bir zevk. Sesine, stiline sağlık diyorum.

0:51 At a side of the world
0:58 I am alone
1:05 The colors that do not show dirt
1:12 Be yours
1:16 Rather than being afraid
1:19 In the midst of the confusion
1:27 I am by myself
3:37 Perhaps I have a secret knowledge
3:43 Of course I cry
3:47 I have shattered life
3:52 What you see
3:54 Trickling down my cheeks
3:59 Actually inside me
4:01 Inside me, there is a sea that I am swimming in, in, in, in.
Thank you for coming back to one of the best singers in the world.
Sebnem has one of the strongest female voices in Turkey. No doubt.

Sebnem is fascinating! Truly gifted and amazing.
The summary meaning of the song is this:
There is no one in the crowd who is really there for her and supports her.
👍
Every time I listen to this song, I get goosebumps like it's the first time I've heard it.
One of the best performances I've ever seen.
yaoma ya
WOW! I have never seen an English speaking person react to a Turkish performer. I love Sebnem Ferah and have seen her is concert. She is amazing. I love her band. Thanks for the reaction.
Çok iyi konserdi. Çok büyük sanatçı. Dünya çapında olduğunu her dinlediğimde ruhumda hissediyorum.
Makes me wanna cry and I do:) Each time I see her performance of this song I feel the same. It’s a shame I did not go to this concert. Unique❤️
While searching for a disk defragmentation video, I saw my Sebnem out of the corner of my eye and silently shouted so as not to wake my sleeping baby, and I responded and watched. Sebnem Ferah is one such person. If the time machine was invented, I would go to this concert and watch it live. My age was available, but at that time I was in another city and could not go. I must have watched the concert recording a thousand times. It is my great luck to have such a woman sing in my mother tongue. I was very touched that you were as excited as we were while watching and that you analyzed it so well. Thank you for your work.
her canlı performansını gördüğümde gözlerim yaşarıyor
Kadinin gucunden kaynaklaniyor bence. Tarifsiz..
She’s georgeus! Because she is full of talent, she is a songwriter and her lyrics wonderful, Every single word is meaningful… she is unbelievable personality- Talent from all angle… her songs More than %90 are written by her… I recommend that you should listen all concert…
This whole concert is amazing start to finish. You can pick any song from this concert and its going to be amazing. Hope you can check out more
Veryansin Tv izlemenizi tavsiye ederim. Hersey tam bagimsiz güzel bir Türkiye icin
mutlu muydu? haha.. ayni yillarda mit'e operasyon düzenliyorlardi, ülkenin bir kismi akp ve saz arkadaslarini tüm makamlara tasirken, öteki yarisi ise cumhuriyet mitinglerinde bayrak sallayip onuncu yil marsi okuyorlardi. ülkeni ucurumdan almadan önce beynini cürümeden al.
😢
Müthişsin Şebnem Ferah. Harika ses, harika yorum, harika sözler... Rock müziğinin kraliçesi... tebrikler...
She is not really human-like. She is like a wonderful machine that warming up... And you showed your reaction in those throat moments. Also, I'm not even talking about the beauty of the song, orchestry and the other awesome souls... this piece of art is divine. And she is a perfection.
SEBNEM FERAH is our REAL QUEEN, not only in Turkey, all the world with her voice and performances…❤️I was in this concert, I am feeling really so lucky😍☺️ Please check her another live performances in this concert perform. “Babam Oğlum” one of the best live performances from this concert…
You have such a calming voice I love listening to you
You know I cant even listen to this song without crying EVERY SINGLE TIME. Her pain translates directly. She is really hurting ...
I hope we can rediscover more Turkish artists together. you are amazing i love you
Tüylerim diken diken oldu. 1996 yılındaydım sanırım, tekrar tekrar dinlerdim müziklerini. Çok özlemişim teşekkürler...
That entire concert will continue to blow your mind.
Yes! And for a song with such repetitive lyrics, we were NEVER bored and always excited and eager for the next part of the song! Wonderful!
She is a world star. One of the best voices in the world. And her stage performance is breathtaking. We love you Şebnem Ferah ❤️
When was 25 years old I was watch her live in Istanbul woooow
Cok super anyway respect from London🙏🙏
I was there and can be seen in that video indeed 🥰🥰It was one of the best memories of my life. Your reactions are so cute ❤
You should do next Şebnem's "Delgeç" from the same concert.
She is absolutely the best!!!! And I understand your reactions because Im giving the same reactions since the day I heard her great voice like at least 20 years ago! And feel so lucky to understand what she says 😍
Have been waiting for this sooooo long
The lyrics are also very important in here.
It was a very good response content. I expect more Şebnem Ferah and Turkish content. You are so sweet :)
Thousand thanks from Turkey you did this great video for our legend, one and only, great Şebo :))
Thank you for reacting to her love your videos 🧡🧡
She is one of the best, maybe the best female rock singer in Turkey.
The song's name is "Can Kırıkları" which is a made up word citing to "Cam Kırıkları" means broken fractures of glass and "Can" means "Life" so it becomes something like "Fractures of Life"
I hope this translation would be helpful :) It was kinda hard but I am happy how it sound "Fractures of Life"
Her voice is just phenomenal, as is her use of language. She made me fall in love with the Turkish language (which is beautiful in its own right, I should say).
I was at the concert that night, you should have seen that crowd, that ambiance. It was a really great atmosphere. My heart was beating very fast.
Aynı konserden "Vazgeçtim Dünyadan" dinlemelisin. Yüksek notalara çıkıyor.
I've probably listened to it thousands of times but it still gives me goosebumps. It's incredible.
şebo sen başkasın. gene tüyerim diken diken oldu. 90 larda çocuk olmak başkaydı.
4:32 is the name and the punch line of the song (can kırıkları is a wordplay. "cam kırıkları" is "broken glases" but "-can- kırıkları" is "have been hurt by emotianlly. "can kıırıkları" doesn't have a regular use in turkish except this song. but whenever you read this words you can understand easly about "hurt feelings" :)
also she is at my age and she is smoking toooo much. so she may have vocal issues (which I am not an expert about this)
I hope you do understand that people worship her like a godess not only because she has a heavenly voice but also because her lyrics are always so story telling which people can relate
and 11:34 ... yes exactly (:
Worshipping a pooping human 😂😂
Kesinlikle!
I love that you let us listen to it again and again, because once is never enough! Her voice is incredibly powerful and impressive❤
You explain it very technically, I love it❤
SHE IS A QUEEN.
Omg I love your reactions..
She is really the queen of rock ! 🔥🫠
For me, she is the best singer of the world :)
The world must have been met this GIFT given... She must have been even more more than this... She is surely an iconic queen of sound but not only... She is a lyric poet whom master of magical dance of words... Nothing compares with her even most of worldwide female rock stars ...
Gurur duydum❤
evet evet evet
I am a Turk and a fan of Şebnem Ferah. It is an honor to listen to her in another country. Also your reactions are so sweet 🫀
Hey Elfi, each time you react with your mimics seems like my brain stopped to command further breathing, these moments of Şebnem Ferah's climaxes in this song, indescribable,
this song feels like a badass roller coaster trip.
Loved your reaction dear, and please bring up her other songs in that same concert. It's a concert of centuries. 😘 😘 😘
