Original Comment (02/15/23): I'm 10lbs down on my weight loss and took myself to a restaurant and sat at the bar for the first time yesterday. I initially planned on only going out and freestyling until I reached my goal weight, but listening to you inspired me to go out and enjoy myself and the *journey*. Anyways, I had a blast even though I've never sat at a bar alone before! I ate and had a drink and kept my phone in my purse. Ended up being there for almost 2 hours because I was pushing myself to slow down and really savor the food, drink, and environment. I didn't get any numbers or bill paid *but* I got a reality check that I need to really work on my game lol... One older gentleman came up to me but I took a bite of my food and looked away and he went back to his table after... There was a group of old men who sat next to me and one of them "accidentally" brushed my arm and apologized and joked about his old age. Admittedly, I was awkward and just laughed but didn't add much to the convo and went back to my drink. One of his friends told him I probably wanted him to shut up lol.. 😬 And last, another older gentleman sat next to me before I was leaving and asked if I had come to the bar before. We chatted for a little, but again.. I was a bit awkward in my approach and too much in my head. So long story short, I had a blast and I'm excited to continue leveling up and improving beyond these experiences. I know I have the looks (even at a higher weight), but my biggest hurdle is learning to flirt and socialize with ease. Practice makes perfect! I think youre in your head to much. No one knows what you’re thinking. No one knows you're awkward. Engage in the conversations and make goals when you go out. A goal could be to let a man earn your number , or get your bill paid ,or get asked out on a date, or network, or to people watch, or to engage in more than 5 conversations etc.

I applied the technique of disappearing within 2 months he is wanting to talk again... and honestly in those 2 months as hard as it got my brain fog CLEARED what was confusing was quite simple and clear .. he didn't want me I wanted him... that alone 😔 is a sad truth I started applying all that energy in myself!!!
