Pay attention to the artwork. This is the key. First 1/3 is Jan Hammer influenced, second 1/3 is Giorgio Moroder influenced. and third 1/3 is straight up Faltermeyer. More specifically; Miami Vice, Scarface, and Beverly Hills Cop. The reason why the transition between part 1 and 2 is so powerful is because they are thematically connected (miami, drugs) whereas the transition between 2 and 3 is less believeable and feels more forced.
hmm, what a nuanced take. Its almost as though the first picture should be in the middle, then just the helicopters create a better thematic transition at least
Die Hard, Miami Vice, Beverly Hills Cop, Scarface, GTA Vice City, Terminator 2 and Against All Odds come to mind when listening to this would have been soundtrack piece to a late 80’s early 90’s action film
For me the artwork and the music matches up perfectly. Very evocative! I have to say, I prefer part 2 and 3 over 1. Though part 1 is till great in its own right. Awesome piece of music matched with some awesome artwork!
A unit of a track. Epic, rad, ace, dark, groovy, hip and square. Everything is just so pleasing in this 3 part concept track. Melodies, transitions, quality of production. How can you slap so much, Mr. Murder? Listener, do yourself a favour and look at the artwork. It tells the story of the 3-part song, maybe as Mitch intended it.
Hey man when are you going to release some more shirts? I've been going to dxseven for a while and am always disappointed to not see any more shirts available. You are a big inspiration to my own music production, and I'd love to rock one of your shirts!
Mitch is way to underrated for the music he puts out, it's a damn shame but I'm glad that I subbed
This sounds like some legitimate film music.

As its own discrete track the third "movement" is fantastic.
Probably my favorite part of this track.
Agreed. Third part is even better than the first 2 ;)
The entire thing was still overall delightful.
Hey Jesse. What's your feel about the whole track in a single take tho? I enjoy every damn second of it, but I'm a deep fan of Mitch's.

I think this is THE absolute masterpierce of the whole genre.
Mitch Murder, killing it as usual.
With this song make me feel like a hero of a action movie from the 80s. Congratulations!
I hope the 80s music will reborn someday
it is happening since the mids of 2000s. Check Chromatics!
iam 36 and falling deep into it right now.
It’s happened
If aliens surveying our world don't return to their planet with Mitch Murders music, they aren't worth our time.

This is one of the best retrowave/synthwave tracks I've heard. Thanks Mitch for bringing us these songs!
The intro is just so damn sexy. It evokes memories long gone, but somehow they feel as if they're right there in front of you.
You bring palm trees, soft sands, and ocean sunsets to the Midwest everytime i listen.
The more i listen to it , the more i like it !
ANOTHER MASTERPIECE
This track alone was worth buying the Selections vinyl box set. Such a great release. Thanks Mitch!
The beginning totally sounds like the background music from MacGyver the tv show! Absolutely great!
On my UA-cam recap I'm already listen to this almost 200 times in just one month already.

Mitch, can I getcha score for my new epic end of 80's- early 90's short movie? So good :)
I LIKE IT! YESSS!!! SYNTH BABY!!!
would be cool a videogame with this music and 80 vibes, the mafia mobster guy kind looks like Channing Tatum
When I listen to MM I feel like I have so much to learn ^^
