Love salmon....before i went lacto ovo vegetarian (no fish, meat or poultry, but i do consume dairy & eggs) i was eating salmon 4 or 5 times a week. I made the glaze to put over tofu....lil different, but delicious: 1tbl evoo, 6 tbl Blue Agave instead of honey, 2tbl siracha, juice of 1/2 a lime bc i always sub lime for lemon and 2tbl chili garlic sauce. . Tasted phenomenal, gonna let it thicken in fridge til needed. Also love your cooking tips Tristan, like peeling ginger w a spoon. Thank you. I wish Lucas helped prep & cook cos i know he loves cooking and i think he would def have dug doing this dish so he can cook it in the future. Keep on Cookin!
Hi Arron, I love the videos. The "one nukkel rice trick " As you called it, is the only way we cook rice in the Caribbean. That's what we were taught as kids. We Cook all rice with one nukkel of water.

Looks yummy, will have to try your recipe, you should try one of mine. I do a honey and jalapeno salmon glaze. Just honey and some diced jalapenos cooked and put on at the end of the bake for a nice glaze. Really good on other fish too

OMG, I wish I would've known you guys were cooking. Next time you're in Anaheim, please look into the AA market or Dalat Market about 10 min from Disney land closer than the Walmart of Euclid. Both stores a Asian market with very fresh fish and veggies ❤
I live in Washington and I cook a lot of salmon, I find baking or on the grill on a cedar plank are my favorite ways. I also like to baste in butter and garlic and if I have a sauce I serve it on the side if serving to guests as all do not like it ,
I don't usually cook but love bok choy with garlic and soy sauce. I have mainly seen it being paired in Chinese dishes. The other day I actually cooked it because I was craving it. It's simple, if I can cook it anyone can. 😅
Question for Tristan- is it personsl preference that you dont use the stems of veggies in your videos? The white part of pak choi is verrry delicious and butteru, we use it in a lot of asian food also you can sear skib then bake for crispy skit but soft flesh.

I broil my salmon for 7 minutes in the oven and it comes out perfect every time.
Depending on my mood I either flavor it with fresh rosemary, or fresh Dill, or lemon pepper. And of course salt & pepper
A dry towel and a pot holder will hold your cutting board still too🙌🏻
