This is so eye opening to me. After spending an hour scrolling through social media I see this video pop up; I think it’s a sign. I’m a millennial so needless to say I’m always on my phone. I always feel worse after being on social media, but there is some kind of pull that makes it so hard for me to stop.I consciously know people always put their “best face” on there, but I can’t help but feel jealous and like my life is so boring compared to others. I’m praying to God and Mama Mary for detachment from social media. I remember being so happy and free when there was less of social media in society, when there was less of knowing what was happening in other peoples lives. I’m SO grateful for this talk and Fr. Ripperger’s experience.

The irony is i am viewing this on my phone.
HOWEVER i confessed the sin of excess phone usage in confession last week as I've learnt recently excess usage could be the sin of gluttony. My confessor advised to put it away for a few hours each day which is what i have been doing. It is fantastic i wish i had started doing it sooner!

The phone can be very addicting. I try to spend long hours off of the thing especially on the weekend. Reading, and prayer tend to help stay off of the thing.
Right now, we are praying a 54 day novena in an effort to stop Proposal 3 here in Michigan. This is the pro-abortion bill that would make abortion up to birth a right in this state. I would ask all of my Catholic friends to pray this Rosary with us so that we can defeat this satanic proposal.

How do you know when there is a demon in you? I have mental illness, severely, and I say often in my head: "God isn't real." And "Jesus doesn't care!" I know better. My mind has intrusive thoughts, like flipping people off and slapping people. I'm beginning to wonder if I should be concerned.
I have similar issues, what helped me is monthly confession, daily rosary and prayer every opportunity I get, I stopped listening to some of the music (now I listen to the finest of Gregorian Chants), stopped playing video games etc. and I joined some support groups, these are all things that have helped me to heal my mind. Also in this same interview (the full version) they mention a binding prayer that I pray whenever I have violent thoughts, which really helps to get me out of that state or I pray the "Soul of Christ sanctify me" prayer. I hope this helps in some way.

Watch your habits. What is leading you astray and simply try to avoid these things.
When you click on UA-cam, be very conscious about the path you follow.
Have a prayer life that starts with when you wake up and end with when you go to sleep.
Be extra careful about what you watch on TV (I don’t even watch TV anymore)
Prayer life does not have to be tedious, simply talk to God and Jesus from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to sleep. Have a relationship with God and with Jesus and don’t let any voice challenge that relationship.
None of us are perfect and to be a saint we must first die……..so we will be tested up to the last second we are on earth. We are all a work in progress.

The phone is not the problem. The problem is we lack self control and discipline. Remove your social media it’s pointless or set a limit on your phone. You can set time limits on your phone for certain apps or activities. But I have a problem with drinking and pornography again, I am just throwing that out. I got it out of my life for a while and it snuck back in and I need some help before it’s to late I really hate it.
Too much time on UA-cam also leads to possible attack. I know this for a fact.
Let me attest to this from my personal experience. I was involved with Facebook, youtube, etc. This consumed me. The Lord called me out that the social media had become an idol. It lead to myself feeling and trending into pornography, justifying all my actions. When the Lord showed me how hardened and worldly I had become. He called me to get rid of all social media. I know you're thinking, "but you're on you tube now!" Yes. The Lord tempered my soul and spirit to only get on UA-cam when searching for a specific subject and ignore everything else. So I did what he asked. Instantly I was 10,000 times lighter. Of course over a long while the spirit reshaped my heart. I know despise all social media. My time then went to studying the Word of God. Wow... The Lord is Beyond comprehensive measures, I try to spread this message. But it's like everyone involved in Social media are stuck in a giant ball of spider webbing and cannot see the forest from the trees. I'll make the Lord's Message simple yet potent. IT IS A TRAP! IT IS EVIL! What Noone realizes is that is HUMANISM if you don't understand HUMANISM it means THE OCCULT, Summed up IT. IS. SATANISM. Take this to heart all who read this. This is the truth of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua! THE CHRIST and God Tri-une. Repent! Don't let this beast entice you to captivity of one his greatest trap to date!

Black reflective surfaces are no good, but I "never" use my cellphone or LED tv screen, try to anyway due to rf radiation being particularly unhealthy and LED light in LED and new LCD tv's does in fact cause addiction and then permanently damages the eyes. Deal with all night pc programming expect a permanently detached retina. Led light is blue, red incandescent light is the opposite so a new type of bulb is necessary. White light or fluorescent is also bad at night.
Non led projector is great, into gaming and stuff, no need for any 4k and all, most importantly I need a gaming console like this one that you can open up and take the wireless card out, my whole building has no rf emitting nonsense. It is clear all these technology things were a mistake, and are a testament to our selfishness and thoughtlessness.

I say my daily Rosaries from UA-cam videos but downloaded offline and I usually only do them in audio format so I'm not watching but listening which helps me focus better.
I swear the daily 4 Rosaries prayers has saved my life! If I spend too much time on UA-cam turning it off and doing Rosary Prayer restores my fatigued, irritated, worn out mind and spirit.

Perhaps gospel music to replace the energy you’re craving musically, but I’d definitely try to lessen your aural diet of rock and especially metal. If you’re Catholic, go to Mass and confession and ask a priest or trusted friend to pray 🙏 for you. It’s great you’re having second thoughts about your listening life which is the first step to change. God bless you!
