GoH is excellent, it’s a true spiritual successor to Close Combat, a game I have many fond memories of.

My first was CC3 demo. I immediately fall in love with CC series. And dream about something like GoH. Dreams come true! ;) JAH!
I can see that the division has "inherited" an AFV from an Armoured unit (The 3rd Fallschirmjägerdivision was motorized not mechanized)
They scrounged it from a AA unit.
Easy 8.
The abandoned emplacements would have made an excellent ambush position from which to harass the tactical advance up that road.

The thing i really miss in all those Content updates and DLCs is a proper rework of conquest, Conquest has a lot of potential even with simple mods which just can touch the surface, it makes so much fun but still it feels incomplete
Use the terrain as natural tank traps .. and fill in the gaps with the enginere tank traps. Then it should be easier to hold 'em at bay. Great video and showcase.
I love WW2 RTS’s !!! When I was younger I played the WW2 box games like SQUAD LEADER, or AMBUSH, A BRIDGE TOO FAR. I loved it then with the hex grids but this is and looks amazing where can I find it ?

Let's just hope they've updated the AI because that is this game's achieves heel. Poor path finding and poor reaction to enemy. Especially when an enemy is right in front of one of your troops and they go unseen. Too much micro management at times to compensate for the crappy AI.

I didn't see any mention of an AI re-work in the content release. I played the update yesterday and AI is just as bad as always.

Dispersing the medics across the front instead of having them in 1 location might be faster
At this point when you are low of armored it is best to use ambush tactics. Lure the enemy into urban fight.

Currently looking around the various WW2 RTS options. I've already looked at Graviteam MIUS, Steel Divisions 2 and CoH 3 but totally overlooked this, I think maybe I thought it was an FPS only so dismissed it. All the games look good but MIUS and SD2 seem to be much larger engagements and VERY frantic whereas CoH 3 looks a bit too "arcade" for my liking (and still unfinished). This looks to be right up my street though, smaller scale and maybe less frantic? Will give it a try I think. Great video, subbed.
