Yeah, get a job! Counter-intuitive as it sounds, having a steady income will actually make things FAR less stressful. Just remember why you’re actually there. You’re not trying to “grow with the company.” Think long and hard before you accept the promotion and the raise. But IF you do, put the extra funds into your music not leveling up your lifestyle. If you don’t stay focused, you might find yourself restarting your music career after the kids are grown and gone. Trust me on this…!

Remember too if your projects are shit. You just lost money even before you’ve released anything. You really have to understand how much your planned projects must hit….feel me.

So you're just going to start of dropping 12 thousand into a hole? That's the plan? Where's the return on investment in this scenario? Where's the money, homie?

Is not in one set, at least to function for a year you need that , in my experience Internet tried twice first with 17k and second with 14k and I had no experience at all, get enough money at least to function one year build up your community and create credit for merch ...

It's all over time, not all at once.

@@MusicMoneyMakeover I understand that- but where's the rest of the equation? The money income came from savings or a side hustle. In this scenario you're not making money from the beginning? You're investing in... something. You're investing in selling merch?
