Orlando Cruz You can use shoe polish or cream that doesn’t contain wax or oil . Kiwi and Red Wing have some . The cream and polish will only clean and won’t add any repellency to water . Oil will darken the leather a little less than wax will do . Wax will add the water repellency if you need it and oil will maintain your leather from cracking over time . Oil will dissipate over time and wax as well but will take longer , when this happens the leather will have lighten a little bit but not entirely to is original state . You could try the cream and see what happens before you consider to use any other method .
What can you use so the leather won’t get dark? I want my leather to stay light.
