I'm old so I don't know much about these categories. What I do know about are the original synthesizer experimentalists and this is reminiscent of Hans Roedelius on his first few albums from the mid 1970s. Lofi and melodic, slightly sinister. He was half of the legendary duo Cluster.
Think this is just Dungeon-Synth? Idk I'm not that great with genres either. You might find succes there since it's been getting more attention in the underground now. Not my thing though, so I can't give any reccomendations.
Me neither. Generally i dont like dungeon synth much. The melodies and harmonics is what makes this one interesting.

Dunkeltroll is definitely my favourite song from this album, and probably one of favourite songs from B.S.O.D
It has this strange atmosphere of german folklore, or atmosphere of walking in the castle. Even though the song is dark and opressing for the first time, it gets calm, atmospheric and deep. You start to miss that frightening first time when you heard it.
Maybe somebody knows any songs like Dunkeltroll? It seems to me that I've heard something like that, and no it's not Havet og Landet. (Even though it's melodically accurate to Dunkeltroll, it lacks the atmosphere of german folklore)

Very true, I used to skip Burzum's Ambient tracks but have grown to enjoy them with time. "Rundgang um die Transzendentale der Singularität" made me get into Ambient & Dungeon Synth. Trollheim is excellent.

Dunkeltroll is for sure inspired by the tune of Landet Og Havet by Isengard
b.s.o.d takes a lot of influence from isengard so i can see that being true. on the intro to ugjenn, it sounds incredibly similar to in the halls and chambers of stardust.
