Regardless of the great musical atmosphere and dark aesthetic, I find it very unfortunate that normies had come to enjoy this and make this mainstream. Perhaps it says more about the music rather than the consumer? Perhaps drug-influenced "black arts" isn't reserved to the elitists after all and in fact it caters to the lowest common denominator. Something to think about, since you can make popular to normies real underground NSBM and nothing would change, their minds wouldn't be able to appreciate the violence.

Dunkeltroll is definitely my favourite song from this album, and probably one of favourite songs from B.S.O.D It has this strange atmosphere of german folklore, or atmosphere of walking in the castle. Even though the song is dark and opressing for the first time, it gets calm, atmospheric and deep. You start to miss that frightening first time when you heard it. Maybe somebody knows any songs like Dunkeltroll? It seems to me that I've heard something like that, and no it's not Havet og Landet. (Even though it's melodically accurate to Dunkeltroll, it lacks the atmosphere of german folklore)
