very good old game - it can have afew probs with getting it to run on systems now, but if you install nglide you can usually get it going with some experimentation and without the graphical oddities like the nthermal vision behaving bizarrely and the green smoke . also - make sure to play it with either the 1.01 or 1.02 patches (1.01 is my preferred one)
+divinuminfernum Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a fix for the common CTD that happens at the end of a mission. But yeah, the patches are a must for getting rid of the "gunner, tank designate" glitch, and installing nglide fixes the graphics.
The Paranoid Blues Man thats annoying - i was able to get it going with some relative stability and no ctd's on my windows 7 laptop which had also a built in intel card - but on my new system which still has win 7 i am getting the ctd's now - urgh - i hope eventually someone can get in and fix it and rerelease it maybe on gog o something
there is a video floating round youtube now that shows how to get M1TP2 working on w10 and i seems to be quite good, - although it may mean foregoing the glide options it is still a good fix
I don't remember the game looking this good. I might have played the first game on my old IBM compatible Commodore (not 64 unfortunately). Spent some time looking for a digital download version on gog.com or amazon, looks like I'll have to buy the cd instead.
I enjoyed the original M1 Tank Platoon when it was first released. In fact, your video inspired me to start re-creating the M1 Tank Platoon game within Arma3 It's here - steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=598511676&searchtext=tank+platoon if anyone is interested.
Nice video, many years ago this was one of my favorite games. :)
They should release a modern version of this game. And like he said i do remember the Ai was awesome and did exactly as instructed.
Another please! I am definitely subscribing after this! Very professional yet fun attitude toward games.
Thank you for uploading this video. It was my first PC game
Thank you for the video, i loved this game!
Ah, early PC tank sim memories.
I loved this game. I'd forgotten how chaotic it is when in full flow.
Have to find it on eBay and hop I can get it working on Windows 10.

Try the sim with ReShade or SweetFX filters... Really nice...

This game can be quite tough on some campaigns especially against the Russians.
