Hello! The V7 is very solid so it should be fine. Don't get the first generation because they don't have a bulkhead and I think it is not safe if you paddle far at sea. Things to watch: is the rudder bent? Open the lid at the back to check it is clean. It is better to have the hard plastic lid for the storage than the light neoprene lid from the first generation (in case a big wave falls over and open it). Check the footplate slides well. A silicon spray can help. With Epic it is easy to get any part if you need to replace something. Good luck with your purchase! I am even reconsidering getting again a V7 because of the rocks. It is a fun kayak, stable and very fast.
It just takes a bit of time and patience and then you reep the rewards. I tipped out of my Midway a few times on my very first paddle but now I'm perfectly happy paddling it. When you want extra stability sitting still in a bit of a chop just put your legs over each side, rock solid 👍. You could do it if you wanted 😉
Would love to try that somewhere warm
Good afternoon ! I'm buying a used Epic V7. What important things should I see (possible breakdowns)? Thank you in advance!

@@kayakintro Thanks a lot!
Too tippy for me. I love canoeing, the exercise an all the adventure.
I could not enjoy my surroundings in a kayak. Had no trust in the craft.
