Too bad he won't be able to remember these memories if he keeps doing this shit. They could at least have padded walls on their wooden rinky dink cage. He could have slammed the back of his head on that. Is that just astro turf over the top of the ground or what's the deal with that? The fuckin bolts are exposed on the cage. These people do this for "fun" I spent 6 years of my life doing stupid shit like this, it pays nothing, they ain't paying for your busted jaw or broken hand. The least they could do is put some more effort into fighter safety. They clearly have sponsors, some one is making money off of idiots like us.

Respect for the old man of 67 years, I'm impressed that he took the punch's he did even if the other fellow wasn't very strong, actually it was a really good balanced fight. I was afraid for the old man when he fell the first time but i have to give respect to fire chicken for putting the correct fighters together in the ring

Hell ya!! Dude was swinging for the stars and putting a lot of power behind his punches and old man just kept coming. Dude's got a chin for an old guy! Mad props to him for making it through three rounds and actually fighting through all three! A worrior for sure. Keep it up brother!

What fantastic effort and again two winners. Can’t believe that age difference and the respect you got from All the fans. One last thing, G1MP, the fight needed to be paused when the tape came loose from the winner’s gloves. You’re the best ref on the net…but this was dangerous.

I am 68 and that Puerto Rican comedian would not have been so lucky ! I fought and boxed in the Marines along with martial arts training. That was back during Nam. Never lost a fight. This 67 yr. old did surprisingly well, I applaud his efforts. Just think, there are even better elderly fighters than us !

People put too much emphasis on age when judging the performance of an athlete. When i took Intro to Weight Training in College, the retired Kineseology Professor that taught the class was 67. He was also in far better shape than anyone in the class. He would lift weights with us, and race bikes on the weekends. He showed us how to use the body fat measuring machine by trying it on himself. It showed he had the body fat of a healthy 16 year old.
When I grow up, I want to be like the Viking.

The old man had courage to burn but, no real guard to speak of. He had no answer to a jab or anything else. I was worried for him. I would have stopped the fight at the second count
A few key take aways here - 1. After that initial shock of catching some power, he stood in there and carried on. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to clear those jitters and get your mind into combat mode (esp when ur trainkng and learning to pace...you don't really "know" ur in a fight until you get rocked sometimes..ur mind/body think ur sparring 50%)
2. Look how far a man can get with sticking to the basics - hands up, use jab, move head & body and use that reach and height he had. Kids always learn the basics and stick to em' get fancy later..jabs and footwork win fights.
3. Despite being 67, this man worked hard, used his reach, listened to his corner and stuck to the basics against a much younger man who hit him with some heat. Get out there and rumble folks...no excuses for sitting around complaining! How many dudes we all know who say sht like "oh I'm almost 40...I could never.." fact is you never could, even at 30. Get inspired, whatever it is fo for it like this man did...god bless him!

Great fightfor this older fella. Good for him for getting in there at 67. Its inspirational to say the least. The differece in speed seemed to be the determining factor. That and the older fella needs to put his guard up after throwing punches. That counter left kept landing for this reason.

Visegrip here. If people hadn't told Comedian to start pacing he might have gassed himself and got clobbered. Striking Viking went out just as firmly on his feet, and as it went I myself call this a draw. If someone had whispered to Striking Viking to goad Comedian into going all-out again, he'd have likely done better than a draw.

Nah, Comedian was the clear winner. Knocked him down once and rocked him good three or four other times - especially at the end of the third. On the other hand, besides getting completely gassed, Comedian was never really in danger. Had to give that fight to Comedian.

67... he did a good job training-- 67 years to learn how to lose a fight. But at least he got in the ring and fought, didn't back down or quit when he knew he was outmatched. Inspiring, even for a 75 year old like me.

Absolutely inspiring. This was by no means one sided, & overall the 67 yr old had very impressive cardio & perseverance, especially against a 31 yr old fighter. 67-31... I could only imagine Silver (that's my nickname for him) at 31 & in his prime vs this same dude, same age

67 year old dude was very strong. Kept getting knocked out and constantly got right back up again everytime like it was nothing. Straight G right there. He obviously needs to work on his cardio and punching power though. I think if he fixes these 2 things he probably would’ve won the fight.
