i believe it means many different things depends how you interpret it my favorite part is “rivers always reach the sea” meaning it may get hard everyone has a different path they have to take sometimes it’s not the ideal one but you always get where your going if you stay strong and keep fighting for what you want🤟🏼
Regardless of speed, precision and technique, Jimmy Page has to be the best guitarist ever. His inventive licks, chords, phrasing and tones are just head and shoulders above the rest.
Plant not only sang over this effortlessly, he also improvised on it LIVE, all of them did and they fit perfectly together. Truly the greatest band ever.
Page's ultimate masterpiece. And Plant nailed the vocals perfectly to compliment. Just know this song has guitar parts layered 7 guitars deep (studio version). Always keep polishing this one up. Perfection is no accident and it deserves nothing less. Not many do this anymore. So Sad!
Bravo! Perfect smooth sound, exact legatoes without any compression and many other signs of a real musicianship. You were brave enough to try a world heritage opus and managed to make it right. Thank you and very best wishes!
Well done…my favorite song. My first marriage was 12 years and the last two years we were separated and miserable. Ten years gone from my life to someone who I cared about only to find they were totally incompatible. Some lessons are learned the hard way… 😅
The guitar looks almost exactly like the LP copy that I bought when I was 15 from Chuck Levins in Washington DC the WMC guitar. No Les Paul but I wish I had it back! Looking at this guitar is like seeing it again!
Great work on the bends, slides and vibrato. I've always loved this song. I saw them play it live in '77 US tour. Nice looking LP and great tone. Mine is beat up black but sings like an angel on Jack. Oh, turn up the FUZZ please.
Excellent job bro you nailed it, I remember this one being hard for me to learn, and I don't think I ever did figure out all of the lead parts just some of it and gave up on the rest but you have inspired me to go back and relearn this song, and this time all the way thru, so thanks again.
Very nice.... this song is why Page is the most creative guitarist of his generation. I used to know the underlying chords during the guitar solo break ... who knows them?
This song takes me right back to the time I was driving in a white out snow storm and my acid kicked in tripping balls listening to ten years gone. Such a great memory 🤠
Okay the guitar playing was amazing, but ain't nobody gonna talk about that jacket? That looks goood Anyway, enjoyed it very much, that guitar is a beauty too
The pain of drifting apart from your first love then realizing years later she really wasn't meant for you after all. That's what this song is about.
and then at the end realizing that "holy shit, nvm she's perfect"
i like

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER MY HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEARTH.........
@@PadawanIan I thought he meant everyone dies at the end 😂

Greatest rock composer ever, beyond any reasonable doubt.
The Greatest of All Time!!!
One of the best just behind the great Jimmy Hendrix...
Nice playing one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. Thanks
William Belwis in your opinion
Justin that was some damn good playing.
no solo touches my soul more than this one from 'Ten Years Gone'
The instant I heard this song I knew I had to play guitar - became one of the first riffs, and later one of the first full songs, that I could play.
Awesome...Jimmy's riffs do that don't they...so cool to hear...
The first zep song i learned to play was Kashmir.
The tone on this song is what makes it so great. Nice job of capturing it well.
My favorite Led Zeppelin tune.
Reminds me of my late friend who passed away in 1997.
Well done 🎸
Such creative and sophisticated guitar work...must've been challenging for Plant to sing over this...
Planty can do anything. He only requires the backing in which to do it. The greatest rock and roll group ever conceived of.
Plant not only sang over this effortlessly, he also improvised on it LIVE, all of them did and they fit perfectly together. Truly the greatest band ever.
Makes me feel good listening just like the Zeppelin version
One of my favorite Zeppelin songs. Very well played sir. Very well played indeed. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Page was such a outstanding guitarist/songwriter, when I see how all his work keeps standing after all these years.

I’ve been watching this video for awhile, getting down these moves and I’ve got to say awesome, well done! Beautiful Les Paul, by the way! Thank you!
Wow. Thank you.
Well done…my favorite song.
My first marriage was 12 years and the last two years we were separated and miserable. Ten years gone from my life to someone who I cared about only to find they were totally incompatible.

This is one of those songs that i know how to play but always forget how to if i don't play it often enough.
Satevo I’m this way with so many Zeppelin tunes. I need more practice
You nailed the tone friend. Good playing too. Very cool.
Sounds really good!! Page and JPJ always kept inventing great songs!
Your Les Paul is beautiful... don't see too many "lemon?" finishes. It's not a burst and it's not a gold top. Love it!!
My fav its called trans amber. Gibson back in 2001?? Had lespaul supremes and one of the optional colors were trans amber. BEAUTIFUL
I think its an epiphone
The guitar looks almost exactly like the LP copy that I bought when I was 15 from Chuck Levins in Washington DC the WMC guitar. No Les Paul but I wish I had it back!
Looking at this guitar is like seeing it again!
its so simple but puts me in a trance, Great Job!!!
Brilliant work man! Best ever LZ tune ever. Deep stuff and memories.
Great work on the bends, slides and vibrato. I've always loved this song. I saw them play it live in '77 US tour. Nice looking LP and great tone. Mine is beat up black but sings like an angel on Jack. Oh, turn up the FUZZ please.
Outstanding cover of an iconic and difficult to play song.
Man that was awesome.i am learning that song now.i can learn faster by watching someone play it.i love led zeppelin.
Nice job! Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Love the cover! Just playing along with the drum track shows you can really play the song, great job 🤘🏼
Great cover of this song, beautifully done!
Loved it! One of my favorite songs.
I didn’t gel with the Les Pauls I’ve had but this made me want to get one again. Well played. All the nuances were there.
It's actually a Tele tune.
Actually Page played this song on a Telecaster. The brown one he had that the media called "Botswana Brown"
Excellent job bro you nailed it, I remember this one being hard for me to learn, and I don't think I ever did figure out all of the lead parts just some of it and gave up on the rest but you have inspired me to go back and relearn this song, and this time all the way thru, so thanks again.
Really beautiful, my man. Bravo.
That looks like a hard one to learn. Great job!!!
Nicely done. Hopefully 110 years from now someone like you will be putting out their own video playing this classic.
I like the guitar tone, its very calm yet aggressive....nice job
Very nice.... this song is why Page is the most creative guitarist of his generation.
I used to know the underlying chords during the guitar solo break ... who knows them?
Amazing! Nice dynamics of light and shade.
Love this song
BEAUTIFUL!
Very enjoyable to listen to! Thanks!
Excellent! Thank you!
Great job on my favorite Zeppelin tune👍
Um trabalho perfeito. Parabéns parceiro.
God bless you buddy
This song takes me right back to the time I was driving in a white out snow storm and my acid kicked in tripping balls listening to ten years gone. Such a great memory 🤠
Driving on acid? Is that even possible?
Damon 2A why on earth were you driving in a snow storm on acid that sounds like you have a death wish
Damon 2A had a similar experience but the song that was playing in the car was Angel of Death by Slayer. 😳
Sounds like a good time!
Damon 2A seems like the only good decision you made was your song choice.
you nailed this, I really enjoyed it, I believe this was meant to be an instrumental so I feel like I'm hearing the song for how it was written.
You killed this bro! I’m just started to learn this song.
Nice job. Great great tune to play.
