The drummer for Sleep Token did an hour long playthrough / interview on Drumeo. It's called "An offering from II" or something to that effect. It's got marks to show what songs are going to play if you wanted to react to one of those songs or the playthrough itself. He's got a unique drumming style with very tasty fills.
Gents. Each album tells a story. The last closes out the album trilogy. Start with the latest album, and then treat yourselves to the first 2. You won't regret it. One of the most incredible bands in the last 10 to 15 years.

Sleep Token is a great band with a unique sound. I know I'd be interested in seeing you check out more of their stuff (doesn't matter which song, everything I've heard has been pretty good) partly because I haven't given the band the deep dive they probably deserve yet. Although I think the best part about Sleep Token is how much they piss off the metal elitists who constantly yell and scream "That's not metal!"

I've only listened to a bit of their music but recommend exploring 'Chokehold', 'Ascensionism', 'Alkaline' & 'Hypnosis'
I recently discovered Sleep Token and I haven't heard a song I didn't like! Their most recent album, Take Me Back To Eden, I think is right up your alley. I suggest the title track, but you can't go wrong with any of their stuff! It's definitely a rabbit hole worth jumping into. Great reaction as well! 👍

There is an official music video, a very successful one. Not sure how you didn't see that but grateful for you checking them out anyway! Their entire catalog is brilliant, but other reactors tend to go to other songs from this album such as Chokehold, Take Me Back To Eden, Ascensionism, Granite and Vore. Highly suggest you stay on this train, I think the Sleep Token army will really love your perspective and support you 👍

@@Valleyy__ it's not a conventional music video, I'll give you that. But it's significantly more produced than conventional visualizers. I guess it's fair to say it's somewhere in between.

Prog rock! I've been listening to progressive rock all my 63 years if Runaway by Del Shannon is counted (according to a prog rock documentary it's considered the first). Many people use R&B but I think Jazz is just as much an influence. Vessel uses his voice as an instrument in how he changes it up for the different songs. Also, like David Bowie they use their masks to create a Ziggy Stardust type of presentation. They want the music to stand on its own. The ending has a funk / jazz bass riff that was common in the 70s. I know you are referencing your generation but to say this is like Post Malone is like saying Jennifer Lawrence was the first female action hero.
Having said that, there are some who see a Goddess in the lyrics, but I can't find any examples. Rather it's a man who has invested all he is and has into a relationship with a woman, but she rejects him. In this song he's feeding into her insanity and asking to be taken to where she is, the other side where he can be insane, too.
Oh, and the images on each single from this album is consistent in their style. I remember reading that ST had a visual artist create something based on the music and lyrics.

Gents. As many others have said, "Go down the rabbit hole". But don't use lyric videos or videos from other channels. This band puts as much effort into their imagery (and live productions) as they do into the music. To react to any clip other than their official releases is to deprive yourself.

ST only has a couple music videos that aren't visualizers. "Alkaline" and the songs from the Vessel only session of "The Room Below". The purpose is to focus on the art, and not the performers.
Everyone starts at the summoning then they bounce around. Some go straight down. The track list which is the linear approach to take because it tells the story Vessel is trying to convey. I'd tell you to back up to song number one and do "Chokehold" next then "Granite" and on from there before you get to the title track of "Take Me Back To Eden". Then you HAVE TO stop and go back to their album *Sundowning* and at least listen to "The Night Does Not Belong To God". After that you can finish their recent album off with "Euclid". If you don't, it's like watching the movie Memento without the flashbacks. You miss a lot
